The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex Ran Into A Couple On A Hike And Helped Them With A Selfie
Since I live in Toronto I was never going to run into Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry as they were all the way on the other side of the country spending their holidays in Vancouver. Also it seems we do not have the same pastimes. These two surprised a couple while on a hike and even ended up taking a picture of them. Well damn… I might go into the woods if I knew I was gonna meet royalty. But only if I know for sure, I ain’t dying in the woods Blair Witch-style for a chance meeting with THEE Hot Ginge… well actually…
People says one Canadian couple was lucky enough to be assisted in a photo by THEE Duchess herself. The couple first spoke with CTV News Vancouver about how they stumbled upon the extremely famous, super rich people.
29-year-old Asymina Kantorowicz told People that this was a regular hike she did with her boyfriend Iliya Pavlovic, but this time instead of seeing a woodpecker or a yeti, they saw royals and didn’t totally recognize them at first:
“We’ve been doing this hike on New Year’s Day for the past two years. We took a little picnic out and we were finishing up and trying to get some selfies with the nice backdrop when a woman came up to us and asked if we wanted her to take our photo… We had noticed the group before, it was otherwise pretty secluded. They had two dogs with them and we wanted to pet one.”
Apparently, Asymina finally realized who it was when she saw Meghan’s Suits co-star and friend, Abigail Spencer, with them on the walk. Meghan and Harry, who? Abigail Spencer IS more famous than them on the hiking trails of Vancouver Island.
“I’m a Suits fan and I first noticed Abigail and then I looked up and realized it was Meghan taking the photo. Then I looked back at the group and realized Prince Harry was there too! …I couldn’t believe who it was. There was Meghan smiling at me, waiting to take the photo and it was just shock at that moment and disbelief… The only thing I could think to say to her was, “There’s only so much that selfie sticks can do.” She laughed and said something like, “We’ll have to take a good photo then,” and then Harry said, “No pressure.” …She was just super friendly. Honestly, it was just so nice of them. We wouldn’t have seen them if they hadn’t approached us. She saw us struggling to take photos.”

The little photo shoot ended with them all wishing each other a happy New Year.
“She handed me the phone and said, “Happy New Year!” and we said, “Thanks and happy New Year.” …She seemed happy and down to earth–she was just enjoying her New Year’s hike with her husband and friend. She and Harry seemed really happy–like a happy newly married couple. I wish baby Archie had been there! I hope they’re enjoying their stay on Vancouver Island.”
Girl! You got to see the couple, leave the baby alone. Get out of here with your greedy-ass wishes. You already got more interaction with Meghan and Harry than Samantha Markle will in her whole damn life. Consider yourself officially blessed.
