Anderson Cooper And Andy Cohen Pissed Off BTS Stans By Hating On Their Performance

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen did what they’ve been doing for three years for CNN on New Year’s Eve: bore everyone! And they also got drunk and talked shit, and one of their drunken comments led to them ending up on the shit list of the fans of Korean pop group BTS.

ONTD says that Anderson and Andy did not have high opinions of the BTS New Year’s performance. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook failed to impress Anderson and Andy who were trying to do their CNN broadcast but where being interrupted by the sound of those crazy Korean kids down the block.

While BTS fans turned Time’s Square on its ass by shouting to songs they maybe/maybe didn’t know the Korean lyrics to or how to properly pronounce the words, Anderson and Andy were not amused. Andy, at one point, said:

“We think they were phoning it in… Is that bad?”

Anderson said they looked “very nice” and Andy gasps!

“Oh! That is not what you were saying during the break!”

People got mad, some people suggesting they would not be talking shit about an American band of seven caucasian boys:

Come on guys, don’t you know better by this point? The BTS ARMY is like if Little Monsters had seven different Lady Gagas to threaten your life over. They will come for you. Even if you think BTS were phoning it in, it doesn’t matter. Say, “Great gowns, beautiful gowns.”  Tituss Burgess and Lil’ Kim are about to send the BTS ARMY your home phone number to get some 2020 revenge.
