Lily Allen Has Once Again Been Seen Wearing An Engagement-Looking Ring On Her Left Hand
There’s a chance that Lily Allen will be ringing in the new year not as Lily Allen, but as The Fiancée of Officer Hot Daddy from Stranger Things. At least that’s how I’d introduce myself to strangers if I were in her position. Which is a position we’re not entirely sure she’s in with 100% certainty, but if recent pictures are telling the truth, then Lily and David Harbour might be engaged.
We first learned about Lily and David a few months ago after they were seen out and about with each other in London. Then in October they were photogrpahed holding hands in New York City, and that’s when things went from “rumored” to “confirmed.” In November, Lily decided to kick things up a notch by getting caught with a ring on her wedding finger. She’s gone ahead and done it again, because dropping obvious hints via photograph is clearly the easiest way to deliver updates on their relationship.
People magazine says that Lily was seen with a ring on her left-hand ring finger in late November. Of course that doesn’t necessarily mean anything. But then she was seen again with said ring last week in NYC. Page Six seems to think that ring probably means exactly what you think it means.

However, Lily might have subtly addressed the engagement ring rumors on Instagram on Christmas morning. Lily posted a few videos of her Christmas haul from David, which included a fake Cartier watch and numerous boxes stuffed with American bills and British pounds. In the final video, she shows off a big ring covered in stars and says, “Not an engagement ring. Slightly disappointing. Next year.”
Page Six reached out to Lily and David’s reps but they had no comment. So maybe the ring Lily has been seen wearing is just a ring, and this relationship is still somewhat casual. Or maybe Lily is lying, and she really does have an engagement ring in her jewelry box. Personally, I think all that money David gave her for Christmas is a clue. He gave Lily a selection of $100s, but also some $10s and $5s. And he didn’t wrap them, so much as he just dumped them in some boring brown boxes. Either David is the most low-effort gift-giver alive, or he was approaching Christmas like, “To be fair, you just got an engagement ring last month.”
