Mark Consuelos Got Into A Fight At His Kid’s Wrestling Match

Mark Consuelos, whom you might find more identifiable if I type Kelly Ripa’s husband”, was attending their 16-year-old son Joaquin’s wrestling tournament and got pissed off enough at Junior’s opponent to storm the mat. Yeah, he’s one of those dads. It’s nice to report that only words were exchanged and no fisticuffs or, yikes, murder broke out. Calm ya tits and find your seat, Mateo from All My Children, it’s not that serious.

TMZ has video of the Long Island, NY match where Mark apparently considered going after a teenage boy with his hands because parents are insanely overprotective nowadays and kids can’t be allowed to experience anything negative in life until they’re on their own with no coping skills and the cops have to get involved. Son Joaquin had reportedly gotten his wrestling headgear ripped off by his opponent which must be a no-no despite the wrestling on TV where you can like hit people with chairs and fake deaths and stuff.

Mark makes his move after his 16-year-old son, Joaquin, gets his headgear ripped off by his foe. You hear other concerned parents yelling for Consuelos to get off the mat, and another adult has to push him back towards the stands.

My favorite part is the New Yawka who tells him to “be cool, it’s a fucking high school wrestling match.” Precisely, my good fellow. Unfortunately, Mark had himself such a fit that he had to leave for awhile.

Mark was vocally and visibly upset, leaving the gym for a few hours to cool off before eventually returning to the all-day tournament.

Joaquin, who ended up losing the match, and his opponent showed everyone how it’s done by merely shaking hands and getting back to the grappling.

Kelly Ripa was there, as well, but she kept it cute and stayed in the stands. And as for Joaquin, he may have embarrassed by his father acting a mess, but probably thought to himself, “Well, it’s better than catching him doing my mom.
