Cindy Crawford And Rande Gerber Hope Their Daughter’s Relationship With Pete Davidson Will Fizzle Out
Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber have two children who are high fashion models barely out of their teens, but of course, it’s the girl child we have concerns about. Even though her brother Presley Gerber is the one with a poorly rendered pot leaf tattoo on his hand and a DUI conviction. Page Six reports that Cindy and Rande aren’t too jazzed that their 18-year-old daughter, Kaia Gerber, has taken up Pete Davidson’s soprano sax. A source close to the couple (you would think George Clooney had better things to do, can somebody please just throw a cameo his way or something) says that they are hoping the relationship “fizzles out.” Pete’s probably kicking himself right now for not having George sign one of those NDAs he’s so fond of.
Ever since Pete broke up with Kate Beckinsale, he’s been dating progressively younger women. His last fling was with 25-year-old Margaret Qualley, and Kaia, his current future ex, might have been just 17 when they first started dating (she’s 18 now). Page Six says Kaia’s been working a lot lately, and Pete hasn’t been by her side, which is music to her parents’ ears. And they think her youth will keep her from getting too involved.
“I think they’re just hoping this could all fizzle out,” said a source close to the family. “[Kaia’s] traveling and working constantly — how serious can [she and Davidson] get?”
Asked if Cindy and Rande are concerned about photos of their baby girl wrapped around Hollywood’s latest Lothario — Davidson was linked to Qualley, Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale in the space of a year — the source close to the family said: “I don’t think they’re that worried about it because she’s only 18.
“Kaia can be slightly naive. But she’s a smart girl with a good head on her shoulders and a family who watches out for her.”
If only they would do the same for Kaia’s brother Presley Gerber. He’s only 20 and has already made more mistakes than Pete!
Look, I know that was excessive given that this story isn’t about him, but I’m unnaturally obsessed with Presley’s, let’s call it his “presentation.” As for Kaia, Page Six implies that her noted “good head,” is a result of her not having grown up in Hollywood.
As the close family source points out, despite the famous friends and the star-studded annual Halloween party that the family attends in group costume, the Gerber kids weren’t brought up in Hollywood.
“They live so far out in Malibu, it’s almost in Ventura — not where everybody else lives. They have a compound on the cliff, overlooking the water,” added the source.
Why, she’s practically a country bumpkin! A country bumpkin with multi-million dollar modeling contracts and, apparently, appalling taste in men.
