Justin Timberlake And Jessica Biel Will Work Through His Hand-Holding Confession
On Wednesday, Justin Timberlake apologized for those pictures of him and his co-star Alisha Wainwright holding hands while his wedding ring was nowhere to be seen. But according to sources, JT’s wife Jessica Biel hasn’t been screaming at him to cry her a river as she dumps his stuff on the front lawn. They’re going to work it out.
Not long after Justin was caught holding hands with Alisha in New Orleans, reports came out saying that he and Jessica were laughing off the pictures, and that they were going to move on from it all, because he had “too much to drink and got carried away.” So why the sudden apology then? A source tells E! News that Justin felt really bad that Jessica was dragged into all of this.
“He feels terrible that this happened and for putting Jessica through the public scrutiny. He knows she doesn’t deserve any of this and that he messed up.”
But in classic Justin Timberlake fashion, his apology might also been made because he didn’t like that everyone was calling out his two-timing behavior, and he allegedly hoped it would make the situation disappear.
“[Justin] hopes by addressing what happened and apologizing to her publicly that they can put this behind them and start to move on. Justin feels like the story isn’t dying and hopes this will be the end of it. He always tries to keep his private life private, but he knows he made a big mistake in public and now has to own up to it.”
E!’s source adds that Justin and Jessica absolutely won’t be splitting up over this, but that doesn’t mean things are great at home. Seeing Justin with another woman has damaged their marriage, and has caused Jessica to trust Justin less. Now they’ve got to fix what Justin broke. A source tells People magazine says that Justin’s public apology to his “amazing wife” was only half of what he’s doing to make it up to her.
A source close to Biel told People that the pair will “work through this. It was good that he apologized publicly but obviously the real work he is doing is in private and hopefully this was just a bad drunken night of this type of behavior.”
That source doesn’t say what Justin will be doing behind the scenes to become a better husband. There’s a main theme running through his apology and these sources, and it’s that Justin drank too much. Apparently when Justin gets drunk, he thinks other women are his wife? I guess the first order of business is for Jessica to sign her husband up for some facial recognition classes. Or at least get a picture of herself printed out that he can keep in his wallet, with a little note that says: “Hi Drunk Justin! You can hold hands with the person that looks like this, okay?”
