The Pussycat Dolls Are Reuniting For A Mini UK Tour

The Pussycat Dolls, AKA that girl group where Nicole Scherzinger sang and the other girls did hairography around her (and may also have been a prostitution ring but I don’t think so), are back. Hopefully this time around, the other dolls will get to hold microphones which are actually connected to something!

Entertainment Weekly says that PCD’s back, bitches! Well, most of them. The original first album lineup of the Pussycat Dolls featured: Nicole, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt and Melody Thornton. Carmit was out for the second album, and then during all the touring and promo for that second album it was clear the other girls were annoyed with Nicole’s lead status. Especially Melody who went off about it during shows. So unsurprisingly, Melody won’t be coming back for the reunion. Although, Carmit is back.

The group announced on Twitter that they’re returning in a 9 date UK tour that will start in the Spring.

The Dolls also promoted the tour on iHeartRadio, going off about how they’ve grown in ten years:

Meanwhile, Melody told The Sun that while she’s also grown in ten years, she has grown away from wanting anything to do with the Dolls:

“I’m not the same at 34 as I was when I was 24. So the idea of getting together again sounds like a nightmare.”

Harsh words, Melody, but I’m still into it. I hope they release a new single so I can add new choreo to my pussy-popping repertoire. I mean, I certainly wouldn’t fly over the ocean to go see The Pussycat Dolls, but I’m still here for them going on a reunion tour. Now, Girlicious on the other-hand…
