Open Post: Hosted By Ariana Grande’s Real Hair

November 26, 2019 / Posted by:

What you see above is Ariana Grande, and while the hair on her head is real, it’s not all hers. Not everyone has been blessed with Crystal Gayle’s hair genes. Which means that when Ariana wants her hair to reach her waist, she’s got to reach for a 34″ pack of loose human hair and jar of extra-strong hairpins. And it’s been so long since any of us have seen Ariana without her signature ponytail, that it was anyone’s guess as to what she looked like without it. Ariana went ahead and solved that mystery recently.

Ariana showed off her real, unaltered hair situation during a video posted to her Instagram Stories. Ariana has shown her pony-less hair on social media several times before. But the pony always returned not long after. So take a good look at this latest image of Ariana’s naturally curly hair. Because her inner Brush and Grow My Little Pony will soon take over, and it will be another six months or so before we see her normal hair again.

Aaaaaaaaand just like that, it’s over again.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. Ariana has said previously that she started to wear her hair up in a tight ponytail due to all the bleaching and dyeing damage it sustained while filming Sam & Cat. But that was years ago, and now she obviously keeps her naturally curly hair straight because it’s part of her look. It’s got to be a bit shocking seeing Ariana with a hair texture besides dry spaghettini noodle.

But for me, the most shocking part is the fact that she’s wearing a sweatshirt, and her hands aren’t completely covered by her sleeves. And now that I think about it, you can’t really see her face. Hmmm…curly short hair, visible hands. I’m starting to think this isn’t Ariana at all, but a decoy Ariana. We’ll only know for sure if a CSI team is able to enhance-enhance-enhance on that video and find a tattoo that reads “small charcoal grill” in Japanese.
