65-Year-Old Dennis Quaid Didn’t “Go Out Looking” For His 26-Year-Old Fiancee

In a new interview with The Guardian65-year-old Dennis Quaid–who is engaged a 26-year-old–says he didn’t go out looking for a younger woman to love and marry, he simply stumbled upon her hot, delicious, young ass. Romance! It sure ain’t dead for some people. And The Quaids are full of it.

So Dennis is engaged to graduate student Laura Savoie who is almost forty years younger than him. Dennis has a 27-year-old son, Jack. His son will be older than his stepmother. Dennis said that he didn’t mind the attention the news of their engagement brought to the tabloids and wasn’t bothered by the hate:

“That was really a laugh. I thought it was wonderful, actually… No, it really doesn’t bother us… Everyone comes from the perspective of their own life and so I can’t comment on the way they feel; I can’t even get angry… I didn’t go out looking for an age gap or someone really younger than me. I met her at a business event and then the relationship developed. You have no control over who you fall in love with. I don’t fall in love easy. But I can’t let what a few people think control all that. I’ve been married three times and this is the final one, I know it is. I feel like I have a real partner in life.”

But still, Dennis actually loved the jokes about it, especially the one about how he and Laura should watch out for twins, alluding to the literal plot of The Parent Trap. He loved it so much he took Laura to have dinner at a vineyard where they filmed the movie and will now get married there pretty soon-ish:

“In fact, that very day, we went to the Staglin Family Vineyard, where we filmed The Parent Trap. I hadn’t been there since 1996. So we went and they offered us the opportunity to get married there… Well, wouldn’t you? For sure!… I think you have to get married within a year of asking.”

I believe that Dennis didn’t go out looking for a 20-something to marry. You see, there’s thing that happens to some men when they get older. Their dick drags them to 20-somethings and away from any woman over 20-something. They can’t help it! It’s science. Just ask Leonardo DiCaprio, Peter Cook, etc….
