Prince Andrew Went On A Horseback Ride With Mummy As Corporate Sponsors Of His Charity Flee

They may be royalty, but ultimately, the British Royal Family is just like any other family. When times are tough, the royals do what any of us would; ring a little bell to summon the footman and instruct him to inform the head groom to have Imperial and Empire saddled up for a morning hack. That’s what THE QUEEN did this morning when she wanted a private chat with her son Prince Andrew. According to The Times, “the latest humiliation for the beleaguered duke” is that mummy has authorized a request for him to get his shit out of the private office he keeps at Buckingham Palace

Maybe she used their morning ride to break the news that he needs to “clear his staff out and find other premises” to him gently, horseface to horseface. To quickly summarize, last Saturday the BBC aired an interview with Andrew in which he discussed his relationship with recently deceased convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and was asked about his involvement with a woman named Virginia Giuffre. She claims she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three separate occasions when she was 17 years old. Andrew was less than convincing in his answers. As such, he has stepped down from his royal duties, likely at the request of his mother The Queen. But he still gets to go on horsey rides.

Being handed a cardboard box for his Mummy’s Favorite mug full of crayons and corgi bobblehead (I’m pretty sure that’s all Andrew has on his desk), is just the tip of the iceberg as we approach the one week mark from That Interview. According to Sky News, on Thursday, Andrew got called into a crisis meeting at Buckingham Palace, and was photographed looking like he literally shit his pants as he was leaving.

The Mirror says he was smiling and waving on his way TO the meeting. One thing that might have been discussed was a planned trip to the Middle East in support of his Pitch@ThePalace charity that was supposed to take place this weekend.

He was expected to travel to Bahrain in the Middle East this weekend as part of his Pitch@Palace project for tech entrepreneurs, but cancelled plans following reported pressure from his family.

Amanda Thirsk, Andrew’s personal secretary and the woman who arranged That Interview, will no longer be working for him, but instead will become the CEO of Pitch@Palace, which is Andrew’s “Dragon’s Den-style scheme for entrepreneurs,” according to The Times. And The Guardian reports that Barclays just pulled out as a sponsor. As have Bosch, KPMG, Standard Chartered, Inmarsat, Advertising Week Europe, Gravity Road and Aon (per CityAM). But as of now, The Palace says Andrew will continue to work with the charity as a private citizen instead of in any official capacity. I have a feeling Andrew’s going to be calling in sick with diarrhea a lot in the coming weeks. (via Sky News):

Despite stepping back from public life, Andrew will be continuing with Pitch@Palace “outside and entirely separate from the palace”, Buckingham Palace said.

Asked about the Duke of York retaining his military titles and attending Remembrance Day and the Trooping of the Colour, the palace added: “The Duke of York will keep his military commands but will not be carrying out any public engagements. He remains a member of the Royal Family. As a royal colonel and a war veteran he will take part in these ceremonies.”

Yes, we all know Andrew is a war hero who was shot in his sweat glands! They don’t have to keep reminding us. In even worse news for Andrew, on December 2, the BBC will air an interview, which was done before Andrew’s, with his accuser Virginia. This will be the first real opportunity to hear her side since she called Andrew out during a press conference in August saying “he knows what he’s done.

I have a feeling that Virginia’s not going to be spending a lot of time discussing Andrew’s illustrious military career.
