Nicki Minaj Claims Her New Husband Paid For Her $1.1 Million Wedding Ring

Nicki Minaj is showing off her completely modest $1.1 million wedding ring, which feels like a questionable financial decision given she’s been with her registered sex offender husband Kenneth Petty for less than a year. I know Nicki is not the queen of good decision making, but spending over a million dollars on a ring that she’ll just have to pawn off in a few months when her wedding goes bust? I know, I know, their marriage is obviously going to last until the end of eternity, and besides, Nicki didn’t buy the ring. Kenneth Petty paid for it. HAHAHAHAHAHA. That hilarious joke alone is worth over $1 million.

According to TMZ:

Rafaello and Co tells us Kenneth commissioned them to make their wedding rings, working together on a design for several months. Nicki’s custom bling features a 17-carat center with VVS2-clarity diamonds.

Nicki is finally showing everyone the diamond goods … and the jeweler who made it tells us Kenneth Petty handled the design, delivery and paid for it on his own. We’re told the band is valued at $1.1 million.

As for Kenneth’s band … we’re told it’s customized with the words “Ken & Barbie” on the inside of the ring. Nicki’s doesn’t have an inscription, but we’re told there was simply no room for one.

Paid for it on his own” is adorable. It’s like when I take my kids to Target and give them $5 and they buy me a candy bar with some of “their” money that “they” earned.

Rafaello showed off the Charming Charlie-looking rings on Instagram, and Nicki also showed off the ring her husband paid for with her credit card while dressed like the Bride of Chucky.

I love that instead of some great philosophical love quote inscribed in his wedding ring, they chose Ken and Barbie…. I get that Nicki’s shtick is Barbie, but what about Kenneth? Do they even make a Sex Offender Ken doll?! But really, we need to stop being so bitter. I mean, Kenneth Petty probably saved up the weekly allowance that Nicki Minaj gives him. What a good and thoughtful boy toy!
