Kim Kardashian Believes In The Gospel Of Kanye West
Kanye West’s mouth has been working overtime recently, because he’s got a lot of things on the go that people need to hear about. He’s got a new attitude (Christian mom accessorizing her MAGA hat with a jeweled Jesus fish pin), an album to push (Jesus Is King), and a Calabasas cult to run (Kanye West’s Sunday Service). What these three things have in common is that they’re all examples of Kanye’s reinvention as someone who is suddenly very uptight and conservative. But how does his wife Kim Kardashian feel about all of this? Apparently she’s good with it.
Kanye has proved time and time and time again that the only person he loves more than himself might be Donald Trump, which isn’t great for Kim’s family’s brand. Kim was allegedly “embarrassed” by Kanye’s questionable Trump love, but stuck with Kanye and even tried to “educate” him a little. An education which was probably limited to Kim showing Kanye some focus group results conducted by E! that explained Kanye was entering an unpopularity level known as ROB. Kanye only got more conservative.
His songs will be re-recorded with G-rated lyrics, he wants to have seven kids, he thinks Democrats have brainwashed black people, and no one was allowed to have premarital sex while working on Jesus Is King. You would think that Kim’s “Cut my hair?!?” moment would have been when Kanye told her she’s got to start dressing less slutty. But a source tells People that Kim is okay with the new Kanye:
“Kim and Kanye are in such a great place right now. Kim doesn’t want to change Kanye. She loves him and supports him. Of course, there are going to be times when Kanye says something Kim didn’t know he was going to say, but in general they talk about everything and are usually on the same page.”
But how does Kanye feel about Kim? We know Kanye now hates the way Kim dresses, and he forbade her from putting makeup on their daughter North. Not to mention how he recently said he believes that social media is an addiction worse than cigarettes. According to the source, Kanye still very much loves his life-sized Barbie doll.
“They are incredibly supportive of each other. Kanye, in particular, has been so proud of everything Kim has been doing lately. They are very in sync.”
Doing lately? Does Kanye have an alternate version of social media where his wife isn’t constantly posing in her underwear? No, that’s not fair – Kim is also working on that law stuff and trying to get people out of jail, which is a legitimately decent use of her resources and time. I don’t know if People’s source is telling the truth here, but I think I believe them. Kim is definitely on board every time Kanye’s opens up and says something backwards or cringeworthy or problematic. Because when it comes down to it, Kim’s religion, motivation, political affiliation, and life compass is: ATTENTION. Literally the only thing Kanye could say that would make Kim call her divorce lawyer would be the words: “I really don’t see myself making public statements anymore.”
