Aaron Sorkin Ripped Mark Zuckerberg A New One In An Open Letter

Aaron Sorkin woke up and had the time, because he let Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg fucking have it. If you’ve ever wanted to watch a rich powerful white guy snatch the wig off another rich powerful white guy, read the open letter Aaron published in The New York Times. It is full of hot scalding facts and it leaves Mark bald and crying. I loved it.

For those of you who were turned on like I was watching human douche-nozzle Mark Zuckerberg get roasted by members of congress, this is like that but written down. Aaron went in on Mark. Aaron made The Social Network which is the movie about Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook. Mark has been all up and down the world trying to refurbish his and Facebook’s image after it let Russian bots influence an election and continue to allow fraudulent propaganda to be spread like it’s real news. Mark even suggested he invented Facebook to get people talking about Iraq? More like “a rack” of tits since Facebook was originally a “Hot or Not” type site.

So when making the movie, Aaron had to deal with tons of Facebook’s lawyers, and Sony’s lawyers, to make sure they didn’t get sued for making shit up. Which is why Sorkin finds it “hard not to feel the irony” that Mark gave a speech at Georgetown University defending Facebook’s political ad policy which allows people to full out lie if they’re paying politicians.

Aaron started his read of Mark Zuckerberg with:

“I admire your deep belief in free speech. But this can’t possibly be the outcome you and I want, to have crazy lies pumped into the water supply that corrupt the most important decisions we make together. Lies that have a very real and incredibly dangerous effect on our elections and our lives and our children’s lives.”

He points out one ad by a Super PAC which falsely claims Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden  paid the Ukrainian attorney general $1 billion to stop an investigation into his son.

Aaron dragged Mark for allowing lies like that to be spread because it earned him millions of dollars:

“Every square inch of that is a lie and it’s under your logo. That’s not defending free speech, Mark, that’s assaulting truth.”

DRAG HER! Mark “Assaulting Truth” Zuckerberg! Aaron ended this long tirade by quoting Mark from his congressional hearings:

“In most cases, in a democracy, I believe people should be able to see for themselves what politicians they may or may not vote for are saying and judge their character for themselves.”

Aaron finished with this epic mic drop:

“If I’d known you felt that way, I’d have had the Winklevoss twins invent Facebook.”

I wish Aaron did rewrite history and take this away from Mark. Those Winkelvoss Twins were way hotter.

Aaron kind of did Mark a favor, honestly. Because since Aaron scalped Mark (and the Twitter bird snatched the last hair on Mark’s head by banning political ads), he no longer has that ugly shaved bowl cut on his head.
