Selena Gomez Says She’s Team Taylor Swift “For Life” After Komplimenting Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS
Being friends with Taylor Swift comes with many privileges. You can earn your own room at her house, and it’s perfectly customized for you complete with your favorite snacks always stocked. You get lots of social media attention when she tags you. And you get to meet her cats (read: the only reason to be friends with Taylor Swift). But if you cross her and abuse the gift of her friendship and the blessing of her pure and dainty love, you are banished from the Sugar Cookie Kingdom! Karlie Kloss has learned this in more ways than one. Which is why it was so strange to see Taylor’s seemingly legitimate bestie, Selena Gomez, posting positive messages about one of Taylor’s rivals, Kim Kardashian. I know that Selena Gomez hates women-bashing, but how could you?
Kim and Taylor have a past, as anyone who keeps up with news that matters (sarcasm). It started with that whole “Famous” melodrama where Taylor pretended she didn’t know Kanye West is an asshole, and Kanye and Kim pretended they were 100% honest about their activities.
So it seems like Kim sent Selena one of her finally-renamed body-shaping things. Selena earned that free trash by posting a pic of her on Instagram with the note: “Legit, so freaking comfortable”.
Sweetie, just tag them and move on. The Swifties do not play games! Kamala Harris got it simply because she allowed Scooter Braun to make her money!
After Taylor’s posse filled Selena’s inbox with snake emojis or whatever, Selena deleted the photo. What did she replace it with? A peace offering. A reminder to the loyal Swiftites that she too is one of them and would never relinquish a chance to stay at her room in Heaven (AKA Taylor’s house with better security) by being so stupid as to slight the Plain Yogurt Goddess.
Selena threw up this picture calling Taylor her “ride or die” promising the fans she too would “die for this one.” She also thanked Taylor:

Well this is a mission accomplished all around, innit? Selena and Taylor are still super rich besties, Kim Kardashian is gonna sell more SKIMS off the “kontroversy” than she ever would’ve with Selena’s rave review, so like… Kris Jenner will eat well tonight! And it’s not like she was going to replace Chrissy Teigen and John Legend with Selena anyway. Try reaching out to non-Swift-related celebs, Kris! That bridge is well-burnt.
