Chrissy Teigen And John Legend Say They Were Never Really THAT Close To Kanye West

Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, and their kids are all on the are on the cover of December’s Vanity Fair and they did a long interview all about their lives including their Trump-loving friend Kanye West, who John tried to talk some sense into once. But while talking to Vanity Fair about Kanye, they basically pulled an “I don’t know her.” Apparently they were never that close. HA! Distancing yourself from Kanye West? Don’t blame you.

On the cover, Chrissy, John and their family look perfect and their complexions are amazing and everybody seems happy and the rest of us are going to die alone, so let’s look forward to that:

And about the interview…

We already knew that John was a woke, secure man but he’s really hammering the nail on the head: talking about how he and Barack Obama once were at a party talking about how awesome their wives are–how casual:

“We joked about how much our wives are loved more than we are now… I’m her biggest cheerleader. I always think she should do more.”

In fact John thinks Chrissy could be First Lady if she wanted:

“Uh, I did Sports Illustrated and covered my boobs with a leaf,” says Teigen.

“But hasn’t Melania opened the door for anyone to be a first lady?” says Legend, with his low chuckle. “The biggest issue about this presidency is how they’ve just lowered standards for everything. Hopefully we’ll reset?”

And remember how Donald came for Chrissy and missed? John just knows it’s because he’s a racist sexist who hates when hot ethnic women drag him:

“We know this president has a particular aversion to strong women coming after him, particularly women of color…So he had to call her out. Every time he does something like this, he just makes himself look more terrible. I don’t know that that incrementally convinces anyone not to vote for him, but he just proves himself to be a shitty human being every day.”

As for the next President, these two think that Elizabeth “Tax The Billionaires” Warren and Kamala “Yes, Donald: She’s Black” Harris would be good choices:

“My favorite–I’m going to say it, we’ll break news today–is Elizabeth Warren. She’s the best candidate running today and she comes at it with joy and with sincerity and with a wealth of knowledge and experience.”

“I love Elizabeth Warren,” says Teigen. “I also love Kamala Harris.”

But the best part is when John clears his throat and goes “well actually…” when talking about being friends with Kanye West:

“I’m not trying to disown Kanye because I still love him and love everything we’ve done together creatively. But we were never the closest of friends.”

What?! You mean that Waffle House thing was just a moment that was blown out of proportion to make you guys seem like closer friends than you really are?! Who would do that?

John also solidifies his drag of Kanye by speaking bare facts:

“I think what was always challenging about it was Kanye has never been political. I don’t think he knows one way or another what policies of Trump’s he likes. He just kind of embraced Trump’s blow-it-all-up spirit and the energy of himself being countercultural in supporting him.”

I mean literally that is what it is–they’re both self-obsessed idiots and Kanye West loves that.

Can’t wait to see how Kris Jenner reacts to this. Kanye West can alienate all the black people he wants, but if your MAGA antics start turning away famous people? People who actually matter?! Kris Jenner is going to Fuck. You. Up. That Khristmas Party can’t be just Paris Hilton and Ellen Degeneres!
