Sonni Pacheco Is Seeking Guaranteed Protection From Jeremy Renner During An Upcoming Deposition

October is arguably the spookiest month, and it’s only been made scarier by the terrifying stories we’ve been told about Jeremy Renner’s alleged indoor gun-firing personal life. Jeremy has been accused of the kind of things that might make Freddie or Jason reserve a chair at the next Terrifying Characters from Film meeting, before realizing, “Oh wait, that’s not a character.” Jeremy has denied the allegations and maintains he’s a totally chill guy. But still, his ex-wife Sonni Pachecho clearly doesn’t want to take any chances during their next custody showdown.

To recap, Sonni filed for sole legal and physical custody of their 6-year-old daughter Ava Berlin in September, and asked that Jeremy have monitored visits. Then Jeremy filed for sole legal and physical custody of Ava, and asked that Sonni have monitored visits. Then we found out why both of them wanted sole custody. Jeremy claimed Sonni ignored their kid to go partying, and Sonni claimed Jeremy was a drunk, coked-up slut who played with guns in the house.

Depositions were recently given by Jeremy’s nanny Naomi Moore, a friend named Lily Faget, and a woman named Carmen Orford. Both Lily and Naomi swore that they were in Jeremy’s home the night he shot a handgun through the ceiling in his house (after first allegedly sticking it in his mouth and threatening to kill himself). Lily also claimed to have witnessed Jeremy with several young women in his house, and the women claimed they’d been doing cocaine. Carmen claimed that Jeremy had sent her Snapchats of his junk.

TMZ says that it’s Sonni’s turn to give her deposition, as well as a deposition by their nanny. TMZ doesn’t specifically say if the nanny in question is Naomi, but it sounds like it is, based on the fact that said nanny has already given a deposition. If it is Naomi, then she and Sonni are scheduled to give depositions on the same day. And Sonni has recently filed documents asking their custody judge to offer both women some protection on the day those depositions are given.

Sonni allegedly feels “threatened” by Jeremy, and is asking that the depositions happen under “secure” conditions. Sonni has claimed in the past that Jeremy allegedly threatened to kill her and himself, saying that Ava would be better off without a mom than having to deal with a messy parent situation. According to her request, Sonni is asking the judge to set aside a safe room at the courthouse for herself and Ava’s nanny. Sonni also noted in her request that you’re not allowed to bring a gun into a courthouse, which pretty much implies she might be scared that Jeremy would pull such a stunt. I don’t know if Sonni has to worry about thay. After all, it sounds like Jeremy’s favorite place to make gun-based threats is his living room.

Sonni sent the following statement on the matter to Fox News (weird choice, but okay):

“My focus is and has always been on the safety and well-being of my 6-year-old daughter. I have full confidence that the facts will come out in court. I applaud the brave women who have come forward to provide declarations based on their own independent concerns for my child’s safety.”

And it sounds like Sonni isn’t the only one who wants nothing to do with Jeremy. According to The Mary Sue, there are rumors that Marvel Studios are considering replacing Jeremy as Hawkeye in the Disney+ series Hawkeye. The plan was allegedly that Jeremy’s Hawkeye would pass the baton to a new Hawkeye, possibly played by Hailee Steinfeld. But it sounds like Jeremy’s personal life has the people in charge second guessing his involvement.

I think we’re all in agreement that literally no one would feel comfortable with a scene in which a woman hears Jeremy’s voice through her front door announcing, “Hey I’m here with my weapons, open up so I can give them to you.”
