Jennifer Lawrence Married Cooke Maroney

October 20, 2019 / Posted by:

As expected, extremely relatable Hollywood starlet Jennifer Lawrence, 29, married the “gallerist” of her dreams, Cooke Maroney, 34, in a lavish ceremony at the Belcourt of Newport mansion in Rhode Island yesterday. “Cooke Maroney” sounds like an old-timey gangster from a cartoon so is it too much to imagine that he said his vows in a Jimmy Cagney-eque accent, see, while the defiantly down-to-earth J-Law made a fart joke when she said hers? Probably not.

Here’s the groom looking THRILLED.

People reports that Adele, Emma Stone, Cameron Diaz, Amy Schumer, Ashley Olsen, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden, Sienna Miller (Jennifer lives dangerously waving a now-married man in front of Sienna), and Kris Jenner were among the 150 guests who watched Jennifer get married in a Dior, of course, gown.

Here’s Emma.

And Sienna made sure everybody noticed her ass because that’s a DRESS.

Other rumored guests include her Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper, and her Hunger Games co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.

As we reported previously, all of this wedding fun might have been just a reason for a party as Jennifer and Cooke could already have been married. Last month, they were spotted at the NYC marriage bureau accompanied by bodyguards, celebrity photographer Mark Seliger, and with J-Law clutching paperwork.

And how did J-Law know he was the one? She broke it down on the Naked with Catt Sadler podcast recently.

“I don’t know, I started with the basics,” the actress continued, when asked why she chose to marry him. “‘How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?’ It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”

She also jokingly revealed that she’s got some wack-a-doo ideas about how marriage works.

Maroney is her “best friend,” she added. “I want to legally bind him to me forever. “And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. You find your favorite person on the planet and you’re like, ‘You can’t leave!’”

There’s not many more details on the wedding, like who officiated it. Hopefully for J-Law and Cooke’s sake, they didn’t get Kris Jenner to officiate it, unless they want their marriage to last a minute like Colton Haynes and Flower Daddy’s marriage did. And the castle where J-Law got married is supposedly haunted, so the good thing about having Kris Jenner at her wedding is that the spirits wouldn’t dare come out and expose themselves to that kind of evil.
