Jaime Pressly Got Shit For Telling Everyone Who Her Favorite Child Is

October 17, 2019 / Posted by:

SPOILER ALERT: Jaime’s favorite isn’t in that picture in any way.

Now, I don’t have kids, because I can barely clothe, bathe, feed, burp, and wipe myself, and I already have a dog, so I don’t need another pair of living eyes hitting me with cold rays of judgement for eating microwaved-melted Kraft singles on saltines (aka nachos of the gourmet gods) while re-watching the second season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. If I did have a kid, and had more than one, I’d like to think I wouldn’t have a favorite. But I probably would and my favorite would be the one who didn’t skimp on the hooch while making me a Moscow Mule. I wouldn’t tell them, though, because I wouldn’t need the other one using it against me in therapy years later! But I guess Jaime Pressly isn’t worried about that, because she proudly named her favorite son on Instagram. And since the mommy army is always waiting to put down their “Shhh… This Might Be Rosé” mug to go after another mom, they went after Jaime, but she doesn’t care.

Jaime has three sons: 12-year-old Dezi James Calvo (whose father is her first husband Eric Cubiche) and 2-year-old twins Leo and Lennon Hijazi (who are above in her belly and whose father is her boyfriend Hamzi Hijazi). It all started when Jaime posted this picture with Dezi on Instagram and named him her favorite.

And here’s Jaime with her three sons, the twins know what’s up:

Most of the comments in Jaime’s favorite post agreed with her, but some shook their head at her:

I hope your son stole your phone and posted this

I really truly hope that this is not how you really feel. If so, why use social media to make your other children feel bad. Please tell me this is a joke.

Wonder how the other two feel after this post…

Jaime was on The Talk, and they brought this up. Jaime said that every parent has a favorite, and explained why Dez is her favorite. She also doesn’t think Leo and Lenon will ever find out.

“I was just being honest. I mean, look, I love, like I said, all three of my boys, but the two little ones are twins and they’re turning two tomorrow, so the 12-year-old is my favorite. Now, all three of my boys are my favorite for different reasons. But when it comes to, like, traveling on a plane, 12-year-old, my favorite. When it comes to dressing yourself, he can dress himself — they don’t even know how to say ‘shirt.’

He’s my favorite for many reasons, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t genuinely love all three of my boys. So, all the parents need to relax. I mean, the truth is, every parent has a favorite whether you say it or not. That’s the truth. It’s alright.

And by the time [the twins] know what a post is, this will be so long gone.”

The delete button on Instagram exists, but headlines are forever, Jaime, so yeah, it won’t be long gone.

But if I was one of Jamie’s sons and not the favorite one, I wouldn’t be mad at this, because I’d be too busy singing Easy Street for the rest of my days as my Jaime worked 24/7. Jaime would have to do Dancing with the Has-Beens in every country, The Masked Singer in every country, Celebrity Big Brother in every country, dozens of Instagram #SponCons, Cameo, every autograph convention she’s invited to, and she’d have to pick up some Uber shifts in between, because every time I saw her, I’d be like, “I am unable to work because all I can do is cry at home over how I’m not your favorite! If only there was something that could temporarily ease the pain…. Paying all my bills, buying me another Audi, and Venmo-ing me a few thousand dollars again might do it… for now.

Here’s Jaime on The Talk giving me Chrissy Crocker vibes:
