Cuba Gooding Jr. Is Facing Yet Another Sexual Misconduct Allegation (UPDATE)

We’re now at the point where there are almost as many sexual misconduct allegations against Cuba Gooding Jr. as there are Snow Dogs. And I’m very very sorry to the Snow Dogs for dragging them into this, because they’ve been nothing but good pups. Unlike Cuba, whose last name is starting to feel like false advertising.

According to TMZ, there are now five women accusing Cuba Gooding Jr. of sexual misconduct, the latest of which reportedly comes with a criminal charge that will be dealt with today in court.

Last week, Cuba got a little surprise party in court, courtesy of the Manhattan D.A. Cuba thought he was in court to deal with the incident in which he allegedly groped a woman at a club. The D.A. presented a new charge based on an allegation stemming from an earlier investigation. Cuba is scheduled to be arraigned on a new charge in court today, and a source tells TMZ that Cuba will get another surprise charge. Although it’s not really a surprise, if we already know about it. But Cuba will probably be surprised and say,  “Wow, just one???

Several women have recently come forward to make new allegations against Cuba. The newest one is from a woman with an allegation stemming from an incident back in October 2018. And it’s probably not the last. TMZ’s source adds that police are currently investigating three other alleged incidents – one from 2015, one from 2013, and one from way back in 2008.

It’s expected that we’ll find out the details of the most recent incident at Cuba’s arraignment today. Cuba was already booked ahead of his arraignment. Cuba’s lawyer, Mark Heller, says that he will plead not guilty, and implies that this new allegation is the result of an alleged money grab.

Heller also says the new accuser never pressed charges immediately following the incident, and he claims she only came forward after seeing Cuba’s arrest this year. He further claims, her attorney tried to settle the case, but Cuba “declined to be shaken down.”

Of course, Cuba maintains he’s absolutely not guilty of anything. He has previously tried to paint one of his accusers as a liar by bringing up her mental health situation (a move the judge was absolutely not here for). He’s also been known to arrogantly joke about the accusations while out drinking. So Cuba is probably going to stroll into court today and make some kind of crack about his ongoing allegations. Except the joke is kind of on him, because five is a lot of misconduct allegations to keep track of. He’ll be standing outside of court, with his hand holding an invisible cordless phone and shouting, “Shooowwww meeee the proof!” before seriously asking if there’s a picture or something so he can know which case he’s dealing with that day.

UPDATE: TMZ says that Cuba pleaded not guilty to one count of forcible touching and one count of sexual abuse in the third degree.

The indictment included twelve, TWELVE, accusations from other women. Cuba has not been charged for any of those claims. The claims were presented by prosecutors to show his allegedly history of nonconsensual ick-ness.  And all those claims involve Cuba allegedly groping a woman and being a creep. One woman says that a bar in L.A. in 2011, Cuba grabbed her arm as she walked by, put his hand in her blouse, and squeezed her breast before saying, “Sit on my face, pee in my mouth.” And just like that, Cuba Gooding Jr. will get an invitation from Trump to be his new Director of Feminist Outreach.
