Hailey Bieber Has Released Pictures Of Her Wedding Dress
When Justin and Hailey Bieber got married for a second time last week after a whole year of already being legally married, they claimed it was for their ol’ pal God. Lucky for them, a surprise side benefit of said redundant wedding has been ATTENTION. Lots of attention. And Hailey was able to squeeze just a bit more attention out of her wedding by waiting a whole week before dumping pictures of her wedding dress onto social media. I believe that’s the 2019 internet time equivalent to waiting until December 1st to finally throw out your Halloween pumpkin.
Because Justin and Hailey look like 90% of their search history includes the words “90s fashion inspo,” I naturally assumed Justin got married in a vintage 90s nehru collar jacket that was once won by Matthew Perry to the People’s Choice Awards, and Hailey walked down the aisle in a white plaid slip dress from Delia’s and a pair of tiny bridal sunglasses. They beat my expectations by dressing pretty normal.
People magazine says that Justin wore a Céline by Hedi Slimane tuxedo, and Hailey wore a custom designed Off-White gown by designer Virgil Abhol. It kind of looks like the dress you get when you say, “I want a double broken wrist bridal vibe.” Here’s a closer look:
And because Hailey clearly has a sense of humor, the design of her veil included the words “TILL DEATH DO US PART” on the end.
It didn’t take long before the internet rushed to inform Hailey there was a spelling mistake on her veil. Yeah, they spelled “FOR INSTAGRAM LIKES” wrong. No, many people pointed out that “TILL” is an error, and that it should have been “UNTIL” or “TIL” with an apostrophe. However, a quick peek at Grammarly.com shows that “Till” and “Until” are technically interchangeable, which means there is no spelling error on Hailey’s veil.
Besides being tacky, that veil can also provide Taylor Swift with some much-needed material, in the event she ever decides to slap back at Justin Bieber for making fun of her post-Lasik video. She might have to wait a while – nine, maybe even 14 months. But eventually Justin and Hailey will get divorced, and Taylor can appear in an Instagram Live video wearing a veil that reads, “Looks like there WAS a spelling mistake after all.”
