Chace Crawford Said He Got A Lot Of Weird DMs Over That Bulge Pic
Pretty boy Chace Crawford found himself a post-Gossip Girl career resurgence this year with his role as aquatic superhero The Deep in Amazon’s comic-book satire series The Boys. As a jokey promo, Amazon sent out The Boys-themed calendars to the press which only featured Chace’s character. And Chace’s character’s dickprint. The Deep wears some pretty clingy superhero spandex and Chace is packing. OR IS HE?

Entertainment Weekly spoke with Chace about his calendar bulge and tried to determine if his dick in those pics was real or a Marky Mark in Boogie Nights special. Chace sounds like he had a panic attack over his pee-pee in this interview.
And in between laughs and groans, he finally addressed the elephant in the room: that bulge. “There is a story behind that but I’m sworn to secrecy by Eric Kripke,” Crawford says with laugh, referring to the showrunner and co-creator. “I’m sworn to secrecy. I wish I could give you a good answer but we’ll never know. It will forever remain a mystery. We will never know!” He groans again before adding with another laugh, “Oh my god!”
I’d be more embarrassed about the SPOILER ALERT fact that his character is in a romantic relationship with a dolphin (believe it or not, the comic book that this show is based on is even more grotesque), but Chace was really sweating the dick question. This makes me think that The Deep’s dick is CGI. I’m not on par with Michael K. when it comes to being a dick detective, but I have my moments.

Crawford knows exactly why the internet latched on to that particular photo, and yeah, he gets it. “I thought it was so funny, but I don’t think anyone got a bigger kick out of it than Eric Kripke,” the Gossip Girl alum says. “He thought it was the funniest thing in the world. Oh god. It was probably a little bit overcovered but I was like, ‘Whatever The Deep can do for you guys to get some press, you know I’m ready to support the show!’ That was one I had to explain to a few people. I got a lot of weird DMs in my inbox.” He laughs and adds, “A lot of love, a lot of love!”
Horny people probably saw that and wanted it in THEIR inboxes. Speaking of – I’m not sure what Chace is into, but if he’s into dudes, that pic has set him up for life.
Crawford laughs about how, for the first time in his career, he’s getting approached by more men than women. “It’s funny to get some of the reactions from the guys, like these big, big dudes at the gym come up to me like, ‘Yo man, can I get a picture?’” he says with another laugh. “When that started happening I had a big smile on my face. I was surprised. It’s got such a different demographic. There’s more guys coming up to me now but they always say they binged it with their wives or girlfriends.”
Chace looks like he does gay porn anyways, so it’s going to be funny when Men.com gets a total clone of him to star in their version of The Boyz. His character’s name is The Deep. You can just imagine the shenanigans.
