Duchess Meghan Broke With Tradition Yet Again By Wearing Denim

You know, I always thought the press was a little too harsh on Duchess Meghan. But now I’m not so sure. Maybe they haven’t been harsh enough because baby girl is acting a complete fool right now on the current royal tour of Africa with Prince Harry and Baby Archie. Get this, according to E!, Meghan once again broke with royal tradition by stepping out wearing a denim jacket. Now, I have to assume that she wasn’t wearing anything else. No pants and no drawers, because otherwise, how could the simple fact that she’s wearing a jean jacket at an outdoor event be noteworthy? It’s not like she was wearing Satanic nail polish again.

Here’s Meghan’s DENIM DEVIATION.

Oh, so she WAS wearing pants! In that case, she gets a pass from me on this one. But Meghan, James Spader called, he wants his 80s movie villain popped collar back! According to E!:

With their first royal tour of Africa as a family of three underway, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex kicked off their second day in the country outside at Cape Town’s Monwabisi Beach. The new mom was dressed for the outdoor occasion—and seemingly broke with royal tradition—by sporting a Madewell denim jacket layered over a white button-down collared shirt with black pants. The royal finished the look with Brother Vellies huaraches flats.

Meghan and Harry were being hosted by an organization called Waves For Change, which offers surf therapy for young people in “communities impacted by violence”. None of the other attendees paired pearls with their wetsuits, thus no pearls were clutched at the sight of Meghan’s renegade wardrobe choices.

Day two of #SussexRoyalTour is underway, and The Duke and Duchess have joined young South Africans and @WavesForChange to focus on mental health and take part in ‘surf therapy’. • Hundreds of young people from Cape Town’s townships meet every week at Monwabisi beach to surf, but also share stories with mentors and talk through the daily challenges they face. Their Royal Highnesses were able to hear how the sessions are building trust, confidence, and belonging, and they also got to join in as children took part in ‘power hand’, which teaches them how to keep calm down reflect on strengths. While on the beach The Duke and Duchess met @TheLunchBoxFund – which was one of the charities they nominated to benefit from donations following the birth of their son, Archie. Almost 30,000 meals are provided by the charity every day across South Africa, including for three @WavesForChange projects. And before they left The Duke and Duchess joined the Commonwealth Litter Programme (CLiP) – which was teaching the surfers about the impact of plastic waste on the ocean. #RoyalVisitSouthAfrica • Photo ©️ photos EMPICS / PA images / SussexRoyal

And in yet another break from tradition, Megahan’s been traveling without her doorstop of an engagement ring, and instead has been wearing just a “thin ring with a turquoise stone”, according to Harpers Bazaar.

The reason for the ring swap? Meghan reportedly wants to stay “low key” while meeting and greeting people throughout the tour, a source told Hello!

Purists will be relieved to hear she has it paired with her wedding band, which was a gift from The Queen. But Meghan usually wears three rings; her engagement ring, her wedding band, and an eternity ring Harry had made to commemorate their one-year wedding anniversary and Archie’s birth. Since she’s not wearing that ring, it probably means she fed Archie to a crocodile and is having an affair with an American rapper. Meanwhile, nobody’s said a word about Harry’s beaded hemp bracelet situation from the McConaughey Collection at Macy’s. What’s the reasoning behind that choice I wonder?
