Jon Gosselin Says That Kate Gosselin Pretty Much “Caged” Their Son Collin For Three Years

September 19, 2019 / Posted by:

Last December, Jon Gosselin won sole custody of his son Collin because Kate Gosselin didn’t show up to court  and not much has been said since then. Well, a 10 year gag order has expired, and Jon is letting it all out, accusing Kate of harsher abuse than what we witnessed on their reality show. Jon alleges that Kate sent Collin, now 15 years old, away to a special needs school in Philadelphia (even though he only suffers from ADHD), that she never told him where Collin was, and that Collin was basically caged for 3 years. Jon went all the way off on the original “I need to speak to the manager!!!” poster mess, and it gets dark, even for the Gosselins.

According to the The Daily Mail

Jon says he may never forgive Kate for sending his son away.

‘Other than ADHD, which is extremely common, Collin has never been diagnosed with any known medical condition, there’s nothing wrong with him,’ explains Jon.

‘But Kate sent him away, she couldn’t deal with him.

‘He was alone for three and a half years with no parents, all locked up. It was inhumane.’

Jon also claims that he had no idea how to help Collin and felt powerless not knowing where his son was. He also claims that Kate only visited Collin three times while the kid was “locked up.

Jon eviscerates his ex and reveals his heartbreak after discovering Kate had sent their 11-year-old son Collin away to a child and adolescent behavioral unit in Philadelphia without telling him.

Jon says he later received a letter from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) stating that they had received a report of suspected child abuse involving his son and were investigating.

Shaken Jon – who had no legal access rights and believed Collin was living with Kate – contacted his lawyers to fight for joint legal custody.

He would later learn his 11-year-old son’s plight and was told Collin had accused Kate of abuse to a mandated reporter multiple times.  .

Jon claims that while Collin was ‘caged’ for three years, his callous mother only visited him three times – less than two hours in total – while refusing to tell Jon where his son was.

The story wades into serious Lifetime movie territory when Jon says that Collin had to smuggle out a note (written in crayon) asking his dad to come save him.

Jon tells how he rescued Collin – who now suffers from PTSD because of the alleged abuse – after the boy’s older roommate at Fairmount Behavioral Health institute in Philadelphia, smuggled out a heartbreaking letter his son penned in crayon pleading for help.

Horrified, Jon immediately took steps to verify the letter and have his son removed from the institution.

The letter read: ‘Dear Dad, I’m not trying to trick you, but I still love you, I told mom I want to live with you, she said no. But Right? She can’t choose for me, I’m old enough now, I’m YOUR son not hers. She was abusive to me after I left your house, I’m sorry, take this to court.’

Who knows how Jon got that crayon-written cry for help verified, but my guess is that when he took it to a letter verification specialist, they asked, “Why is this written on Ed Hardy stationary in your writing?” But when Jon said that it’s about THEE Kate Gosselin, they said, “That changes everything. The boy is telling the truth and it’s from him. Verified!

Jon says that two of his older girls are in college, and Hannah and Collin are living with him. And sadly, he has almost no contact with his four other children living with Kate.

Jon claims he isn’t in contact with the four currently living with Kate because his ex has ‘poisoned’ them against him.

He said: ‘I think Kate has really poisoned my children’s minds against me.

‘She’s put stuff in their minds about my personality. I never cheated on my wife, I’m not a monster, I love my children more than anything.

No word from Kate yet, but she is probably at a courthouse right now asking for an emergency 10 year gag order extension, as it’s in the best interest of her image and checking accounts.
