Miley Cyrus Reportedly “Blindsided” Liam Hemsworth With Their Break Up

The Miley Cyrus/Liam Hemsworth breakup has really run the full gamut of headlines since it happened like a month ago. They wasted no time blaming each other for the break up. Miley went ahead and put out a break-up song, and got a break-up tattoo. There was also a story about how their parents didn’t want them to divorce, which came out just before he filed for divorce! Basically these two really hit it out of the park publicity-wise.

Well, add another headline to the list: 29-year-old Liam Hemsworth reportedly didn’t even know they had broken up until Miley announced it on social media

Sources tell Page Six that August 10’s statement from Miley Cyrus’ people regarding their separation was the first that Liam had heard of it. They claim that Liam was “blindsided by the statement”–being in Australia when the news broke. And then a few hours later, there were pictures of Miley making out with Kaitlynn Carter all over the place. It’s almost like Miley’s team knew the pics of them making out would come out and they got ahead of it? Hmm….

Of course, a source close to Miley denies this and says that Liam could not have been surprised by the break-up. Liam’s sources agree that the relationship was shit and had “been crumbling” but they say Liam was the one trying to save it and wasn’t ready to announce their split. Miley is the one whose side has seemingly been playing the “I tried to make it work!”-card, so maybe she wasn’t really as interested in keeping Liam and was more interested in hopping onto Kaitlynn?

Honestly, this sucks for Liam. He is not getting a break-up single, or a break-up movie! He’s not really benefitting from this at all! Miley is out here with a new hot girl on her arm and new music bumping in the apartments of gays. Liam is out here… what? Getting hit on by Lindsay Lohan? What if Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman gets jealous? It’s dangerous to have beef with someone like that, Liam.
