Open Post: Hosted By The Best High School In The World!

If you’re anything like me, your high school experience was trash. And I’m not talking about the actual “education” part. I’m talking about being a dork back when it wasn’t cool. There was a time when being outside of the norm guaranteed you a seat at the Loser Table. But things aren’t like that at one high school that encourages everyone to let their inner geek fly out loud and proud.

The Huffington Post reports that the coolest students in the world attend North Farmington High School in the Detroit suburb of Farmington Hills. As a way of expressing themselves in a world where everyone wants you to be the same, their faculty encouraged them to dress up as their favorite pop culture character and be immortalized on that timeless piece of awkwardness called the Student ID. Further adding to this dope concept is that the students have been posting their IDs side by side with their inspiration all over Twitter.

There were lots of cartoon characters, including Woody from “Toy Story” (“There’s a snake in my boot”), Krusty Krab of “Spongebob Squarepants,” Princess Fiona and Peppa Pig.

There were also a few Beyonces (of course) as well as characters from Shrek, Mean Girls and Bob’s Burgers.

Though the kids were completely serving all kinds of cosplay slayage, none of them could hold a candle to one of the faculty members, who definitely won this challenge.

Nice try students, but I think we all know who’s taking home the crown for Product Placement Realness.

You can see many, many more IDs here.
