Kristin Cavallari Claims She Fired The Employee Responsible For The 9/11 Caption That Got Her Dragged

September 12, 2019 / Posted by:

Kristin Cavallari took a photo of her in a sexy dress, captioned it, “NYC for 24hrs. And what a time to be here..always remember”, and posted it on 9/11. While in New York City. Kristin also tagged many of the companies she promotes. After she got dragged for it, Kristin admitted that she doesn’t really do her own Instagram captions and blamed it on a member of her social media team who is no longer a member of her social media team.

According to People:

Kristin Cavallari has parted ways with one of her employees after they posted an “insensitive” caption on an Instagram photo of the reality star on the 9/11 anniversary a source tells PEOPLE.

On Wednesday, a photo of Cavallari, 32, standing on a New York City sidewalk and wearing a short, plunging black dress was uploaded to her account with the caption, “NYC for 24hrs. And what a time to be here..always remember.”

Of course, there were comments about the post:

Wrong picture for the sentiment in the post,” wrote one user.

“Poor taste,” stated another.

A third follower commented, “This is super insensitive.”

“Let me show off my body and then make a half ass remark about 911. WTF,” said yet another.

Kristin kept throwing this ALLEGED employee under the bus, and let it be known that the sexy photo was supposed to be shared on 9/10.

According to the source, the image was taken on Tuesday and was “supposed to be posted” that evening.

But “then an employee took it upon herself to post it Wednesday with her own caption,” explains the source, who confirms that “the employee was fired.”

“Kristin feels bad about the situation,” the source adds.

Kristin’s social media team (I can’t believe that’s a thing that exists) ended up erasing the “And what a time to be here..always remember” part.

Look, I’m on Kristin’s side. Imagine living in a world where you have to manage your own Instagram page? Actually, don’t imagine that, it’ll exhaust you! Kristin doesn’t have time for that. She has to worry about her kids getting a preventable disease because she went to The Jenny McCarthy School of Medicine and refuses to vaccinate them. She also has to make sure there’s enough homemade goat milk formula and her husband’s been breastfed. Her life is full, and writing a measly sentence on Instagram is hard. There’s only so many hours in the day!

And again, I understand Kristin’s plight, but what I want to know is: When is Kristin going to apologize for those shoes?
