Open Post: Hosted By Mimi Slumming It With The Peasants For The Sake Of Her Daughter

If you’re the 8-year-old daughter of Mariah Carey and she asks you to pick any store in the world to have a shopping spree in, the only acceptable answers to prove to her that you are indeed her child are:

  1. Cartier, dahlink!
  2. Tiffany’s, dahlink!
  3. Harry Winston, dahlink!
  4. Zsa Zsa Gabor’s estate sale, dahlink!

But I guess that Mimi and Nick Cannon’s daughter, Monroe, was in the mood to make her mom suffer, and felt like saying, “The Jennifer Lopez section at Kohl’s,” would be going too far, so she went with Target. Surprisingly, Mimi didn’t answer with, “I don’t know her.

Mimi posted the above pic on Instagram with the caption:

Either Mimi’s team of Photoshoppers did a flawless job at turning her frown upside down or she’s truly digging deep into her diamond-encrusted soul to keep from completely dying inside over having to take a picture, sunglasses-free, under that absolutely dreadful lighting. I’m sure that Target closed down the store for Mimi and brought the authenticity by hiring extras from central casting to play shoppers, but they also could’ve at least pulled out that demonic overhead lighting and covered their store with the nothing but those ring lights that beauty YouTubers use. How could they let the unicorn blossom wilt like that?!

And as for what Monroe is looking at. I’m guessing that she’s watching her mommy’s bodyguards stomp toward her. They pulled Monroe out of that cart with urgency and quickly picked up Mimi and put her in that plastic red chariot before she collapsed from the intense labor of standing. Monroe better appreciate this for the rest of her days, because Mimi nearly died to make her peasant emporium dreams come true!
