Donald Trump Went After Chrissy Teigen And John Legend On Twitter, And They Slapped Back

Donald Trump manifested the energy of the only person alive who is as salty as he is, Samantha Markle, and he tried to come for Chrissy Teigen on Twitter. Chrissy Teigen is great at Twitter, so when you’re making a swing for the Queen, you best not miss, and Trump missed hard.

Deadline says that this all started because of an MSNBC special: Justice For All–a documentary on mass incarceration in which John Legend did an interview. John has long been an advocate for all kinds of things and prison reform is a big one. Which is probably how their friend, Kim Kardashian, got the idea to make that her next publicity grabber cause to care about. So Trump has signed the First Step Act, which reduced mandatory minimum sentences and did other stuff in terms of reforms to federal sentencing. There was bipartisan support for it, and it’s been viewed as the first piece of legislation needed to reform the justice system. Ish… So I guess this means Trump owns criminal justice reform? And the decades-long broken system has been fixed with a wand-wave? So John Legend should STFU? Or something? He Tweeted:

The first gag is, there isn’t any funding for this bill that he signed which saved criminal justice, so who knows how long it will continue to be effective. This was brought up by Alyssa Milano:

Chrissy, of course, went in:

And John of course wanted to help his wife spread the word:

As of this morning, #FilthyMouthedWife is trending at number 2 in the United States–and not because people think it’s bad to be one–and #PPAB is trending at 19. I feel like if they let the word “Pussy” trend we’d be even farther along but Twitter has it’s haphazard rules, I suppose. Well, I guess Donald got what he wanted: Attention. Now everyone is talking about President Pussy Ass Bitch. I can’t wait til someone calls him that to his face and he loses it on them Chris Cuomo-style.
