Lori Loughlin And Mossimo Giannulli Showed Up To Federal Court In Boston Today

To think, Lori Loughlin probably did the “Woop woop raise the roof!” hands when her academically average daughters miraculously got into USC, and now she’s raising her arms while walking through federal court security. Although to be fair, she and her husband Mossimo Giannulli will still likely raise the roof when they leave court, because they think they’ve got this thing beat.

Lori and Mossimo showed up at a courthouse in Boston this afternoon for their first court appearance since pleading not guilty to allegedly bribing their daughters’ way into college. People magazine says today’s court hearing was to determine if their choice of lawyers would be a conflict of interest.

Back in June it was revealed that both Lori and Mossimo will be represented by the same law firm, Latham & Watkins, who have represented Lori and Mossimo for two decades, and have also represented the University of Southern California before. Here’s Lori and Mossimo arriving to court. People magazine says they showed up at about 2:45pm and entered through the back door.

Sources say that Lori and Mossimo informed the court that they will be represented as one, and that their lawyer will defend them jointly. People spoke to a legal expert, who said that plan could possibly backfire on them. One defendant could be guiltier than the other, and the less-guilty party might suffer. The judge reportedly gave Lori and Mossimo the ok to use the same law firm they’ve always used, agreeing that Latham & Watkins’ work with USC was completely unrelated. As for anything about them being represented together with the same defense, that’s not exactly known.

But we did get footage of Lori and Mossimo in court.

Lori is once again working her best courtroom blowout. But this time she went far more simple and understated with her look. It’s obvious Lori didn’t have any help picking out her courtroom outfit from her daughter Olivia Jade. Or maybe she did, she just went with the exact opposite of what Olivia Jade suggested. Because flat slip-ons and a cardigan is the opposite of $980 party heels and a custom-made ripped t-shirt that reads Fuck My Haterz.
