That orange troll in the White House is just a (nightmarish) front. Your real ruler is Mickey Mouse! Disney owns our country. Disney owns the world! And just so we don’t get restless and rebel against our corporate overlords, they keep on announcing the movies and shows that will keep us docile and compliant for when they install chips in our heads so we’ll ” be able to watch the Disney programming you love inside your brain anytime you want!” *terrified scream* Day 2 of the D23 Expo in Anaheim yesterday revealed what Emma Stone looks like as prequel Cruella de Vil and some other stuff.
EW reports that Emma is a “punk rock” young Cruella in the 101 Dalmations prequel. Emma also popped up in a video from the set of the movie to reveal the identity of one of her costars
First, the film added one more Emma to the mix, with Emma Thompson now starring opposite Stone. Next Stone, in a video clip from the London set, shared that the film will take place in 1970s London and be “punk rock.”
In addition to Emma Stone trying to keep up with Glenn Close’s iconic portrayal, Disney announced even more showbiz news, according to i09.
The release date of Black Panther 2 was announced, even though that’s not going to be the title.

Ryan Coogler will return to write and direct the sequel to the ninth-highest-grossing film of all time (and the third-highest-grossing film of all time in the US and Canada).
In other casting news, officially joining Kit Harrington (and Angelina Jolie) in the Eternals movie is Gemma Chan (Crazy Rich Asians) as Sersi and Barry Keoghan (Dunkirk and HBO’s Chernobyl) as Druig. Gemma played a minor character in Captain Marvel.
In Star Wars news, they revealed the poster for next year’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and it features supervillain Emperor Palpatine, who we thought was killed off at the end of Return of the Jedi wwwaayyy back in 1983.

They also announced that Ewan McGregor will have his own Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+. This ain’t great news cuz’ his Obi-Wan was in those prequels and need I say more? Oh, and they also dropped a trailer for The Mandalorian, which is Jon Favreau’s Disney+ series about a bounty hunter that looks like Boba Fett but isn’t. It stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, and Werner Herzog. It premieres on November 12 and looks pretty rad.
And that’s that. And frankly, if Disney wants any more free advertising from Dlisted, they’re going to have to upgrade my brain chip to play The Black Cauldron. That’s an underrated Disney movie that I once thought I only dreamed but was an actual movie!
