Scarlett Johansson Is The Highest-Paid Actress Of 2019

Scarlett Johansson is one of Hollywood’s most talented and versatile actresses. She’s a cisgender white woman who can play trans people! And Asians! For God’s sake, she recently revealed that she can play trees! It makes perfect sense that Forbes just named the woman who continually asks Meryl Streep to hold her beer as the highest-paid actress of 2019.

While Forbes’ highest-paid actor The Rock made almost $90 million last year, ScarJo, most famously known as the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Black Widow, made $65 million last year. Just think how much more she could earn if she employed facial expressions in her performances.

That Marvel money is nothing to Thanos snap at.

That includes a lot of Marvel money, like an eight-figure check for her upcoming Black Widow film and an impressive back-end payment of about $35 million for the $2.8 billion-grossing Avengers: Endgame.

ScarJo is currently shooting Black Widow at Pinewood Studios in England. The movie’s going to be a big two-hour flashback seeing as HUGE SPOILER ALERT Black Widow demonstrated that people with families are much more important and worthy of life than single, childless women by taking Hawkeye’s place in a suicide jump to save the world in Avengers: Endgame.

Who joins Scarlett on the list of the highest compensated ladies in Hollywood? Well, new entries like Elisabeth Moss and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’s barely seen Margot Robbie.
