A Fox News Strategist Thinks People Are Shooting Up Marijuana

Fox News strategist, David Avella ,wants people to STOP SHOOTING UP MARIJUANA! Avella think’s marijuana is ruining society and people are shitting in the street with weed needles in their arms because of it. Soooo some good news/bad news. The good news is that this problem has been totally eradicated!!! The bad news is that David Avella is an idiot who doesn’t know how marijuana works.

According to Newsweek:

During a segment of the Fox News program Outnumbered on Thursday, David Avella, the president of GOPAC, discussed a resolution put forward by San Francisco officials to refer to former prisoners as “formerly incarcerated person” or former “justice-involved” person or “returning resident” when they complete their sentences. Avella suggested that this kind of approach was somehow leading to other issues, such as people pooping in the streets of the California city.

“California has tried to clear out their prisons and yet every year they continue to have overcrowded prisons,” the Republican strategist said. “And the focus ought to be on a society that follows the law, not allowing people to defecate in the streets, not allowing individuals to lay on the street having just shot up with marijuana – or heroin and having a needle sticking out of them.”

Well, that escalated quickly! Not sure how a resolution to change the language on what we call former prisoners led to people shitting on the streets with weed needles in their arms. Feels a little REEFER MADNESS(ish). Also, where is Avella getting his weed from? Sounds like someone might of showed him how to use it wrong.
Although it’s unclear whether Avella simply misspoke or actually believes that individuals inject themselves with marijuana, some were quick to point out the gaffe on Twitter. Marijuana, also known as cannabis, is generally ingested through smoking or eating edibles that have been prepared with cannabis oil. It is not “shot up” or injected into the bloodstream.
Marijuana can be used for lots of things: thoughtful christmas presents,a way to pay for chicken nuggets at McDonalds and of course a weed bouquet for your ex husband from you and your new girlfriend. Never heard of it being used as a laxative that causes you to empty your bowels on the street, but hey, maybe these weed mainliners are chasing their fix with Taco Bell.

Let’s hope David Avella has learned his lesson and is no longer championing the dangers of shooting up marijuana and shitting in the streets. Two very strange and specific causes. Now David Avella can focus his time on more important Fox News issues…like GINGERBREAD BEING MEN!!!
