Fans Got Mad Over The $6,000 Snakeskin Heels That Britney Spears Never Wore

Britney Spears has a ton of money. And while she sure seems to really love herself a Target bargain, she also spends money on overpriced ugly designer shit. Enter: her hideous $6,000 Christian Louboutin snakeskin heels. Britney debuted the item on her Instagram account and it led to some mixed reactions. It seems that people don’t appreciate poor snakes getting murdered just so Britney Spears can waste money on platform heels she has never worn.

So here are the shoes that launched all the hate:

This is an affront to god. Those things look like they should be collecting dust on the clearance shelf of a Jersey strip small clothing store owned by an extra from The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Even Teresa Giudice would look at those abominations and say, “Tacky!

The fact that these unholy shoes cost $6,000 seemed to be the least of the complaints against Brit Brit. Most people were mad at the fact she had participated in the commodification of skinning animals for the purpose of creating accessories nobody needs. Comments included:

“Congrats on contributing to animal cruelty, all for nothing.”

“That’s is shameful to wear animals killed for vanity and brag about letting them go to waste. So cavalier and dismissive.”

“Girl that’s not the thing to post nowadays.”

“Must be nice to flaunt your overindulgence. Meanwhile, we have people who can’t afford their next meal. Here’s an idea, instead of spending that sort of money on nonsense, donate it.”

She does have some supporters, like this one who thinks the complaints about animal cruelty have to do with… socialism?

“How DARE you be successful and enjoy the spoils of your success! Don’t you know we are a socialist country! Because socialism has always been HUGELY successful every time it has been tried! – Sincerely, the whining people of social media.”

Well, I guess Britney will have to be more careful with her social media postings in the future. Or at least the group of evil handlers who control Britney’s Instagram account do.
