“The Hunt” Won’t Be Shown In Theaters After Mass Shooting And Trump’s Rant
The squeaky wheel gets the grease and the hypocritical narcissist determines what’s shown in movie theaters now. The Hollywood Reporter says that the upcoming horror-thriller The Hunt, which is about working-class people being hunted for sport by psycho “elites”, will no longer debut in theaters and has been pulled from Universal Studios’ release schedule by the studio.
Trump’s normal tactic of tweeting about stuff he’s told to hate by Fox News to distract us from his latest misstep was in full effect this weekend. After being criticized for posing with the baby of a couple murdered during the El Paso Wal-Mart shooting massacre with a smile and a thumbs-up (!?!), Trump must have seen a Fox News segment about The Hunt and activated those tiny Tweetin’ fingers to distract us!
….to inflame and cause chaos. They create their own violence, and then try to blame others. They are the true Racists, and are very bad for our Country!

While not referring to the film by title, he obviously meant The Hunt. Here’s the trailer.
In response and obviously acknowledging our country’s latest spate of gun violence, Universal declared that the movie would stay on the shelf for the time being.
“While Universal Pictures had already paused the marketing campaign for The Hunt, after thoughtful consideration, the studio has decided to cancel our plans to release the film,” the studio said in Saturday’s statement. “We stand by our filmmakers and will continue to distribute films in partnership with bold and visionary creators, like those associated with this satirical social thriller, but we understand that now is not the right time to release this film.”
The Hunt stars GLOW‘s Betty Gilpin. Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley, and Hilary Swank.
Delaying the release of a film depicting the hunting of humans by people with guns is understandable at this juncture but this might also have something to do with the film’s unnamed U.S. president reportedly being referred to by one of the characters as “the ratfucker-in-chief.” Points for accuracy!
