Jake Gyllenhaal’s Girlfriend Came To His Broadway Premiere
Jake Gyllenhaal celebrated the opening night of his Broadway play Sea Wall/A Life. According to The New York Times, Sea Wall/A Life is actually a double bill of two separate monologues with Jake tackling the latter, jerking tears and jolting funny bones recounting the birth of a daughter and the death of a father. He probably jerked a few tears from his fans in another way too, by inviting his girlfriend to his opening. Page Six says that “things are heating up” between 38-year-old Jake and 23-year-old French model Jeanne Cadieu. If you’re disappointed in Jake for making basic ass dating choices remember, a French 23 is more like an American 39, so he’s actually dating an older woman!
Page Six reports:
We hear Cadieu has met his family and that they’ve been on a trip to Martha’s Vineyard together. Cadieu has also been spotted at previews of Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge’s Broadway play “Sea Wall/A Life.”
They’re even participating in an art project together. The “Inside Out” photo exhibition, which features portraits of both Cadieu and Gyllenhaal, among many others, adorns the wall outside of the Hudson Theatre.

Not only is Jean a sophisticated older woman, being French, the only nudes she posts on Instagram are tastefully coy black and white photos. Tres chic!
And also because she’s French, she probably also has a touch of melancholy, and we know Jake has very strong feelings about that word! Jake and Jeanne (sorry, now that I see those names next to each other like that, I hate it. How are we supposed to Natalie Portmanteau that?) have been seen together since December of 2018 which means they’re coming up on 8 months as a couple.
I think the last relationship Jake had that lasted this long was with that lustrous beard he was working a while back. And no, I am absolutely NOT talking about Taylor Swift.
