Mariah Carey Engaged In A Little Political Shade On Twitter

Many people have spent the past few days saying Donald Trump’s name over and over (sometimes with as much pissed-off energy as a human body can summon). Mariah Carey might be feeling that sentiment, but she certainly isn’t letting the words “President Trump” come from her. Because Mariah recently let it be known that Trump isn’t her President.

On Sunday, Mariah swung by Madison Square Garden to watch Barbra Streisand perform, and while there she met Hillary and Bill Clinton, who were also in attendance. Mariah tweeted a picture of herself meeting Hillary and Bill. But because Mariah is also the preeminent master of shade, she managed a masterful drag on Trump with her caption.

Lest you think Mariah was having a moment of pre-nap confusion, here she is posing for a picture with Barbra, and she knows exactly who she’s sharing pic space with.

It’s a good thing Mimi and Babs don’t share a good side, because that picture could have ended up looking like a blurry eye test.

Yahoo! News points out that Mariah might have been inspired by Barbra’s politically-twinged show. At one point, Barbra performed Send In The Clowns, but changed up the lyrics to drag Trump.

Mariah’s “President Clinton” remark might be the one thing that could unite her and her forever enemy Jennifer Lopez. Like Mariah, JLo was also a Clinton supporter.

This is just further proof that two people who hate each other’s guts can find common ground for the greater good. Even Mariah could probably agree. Although I’m not sure we’ll ever hear her utter the words: “I still don’t know her, but I know she also doesn’t want to know him, so maybe I’d be okay with knowing her a little.
