A$AP Rocky’s Home And Says He’s Never Going Back To Sweden

TMZ reports that A$AP Rocky made it back to the States yesterday and has vowed to never, ever enter the country of Sweden again after spending a month in a Stockholm jail on an assault charge. The judge in the case allowed Rocky and two members of his entourage to skip town prior to their trial verdict being rendered on August 14. Our star-fucking Troll-In-Chief has, of course, already taken credit for getting A$AP released at the behest of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. It’s nice to see that everyone’s priorities are on point. Tasks like getting some asshole-sounding rapper out of jail in a foreign country should definitely be an imperative seeing as everything else back here in the U.S. is going so swimmingly.

Rocky posted his gratitude on Instagram yesterday.

Sources say the accused has vowed never to return to the land of tangy meatballs and probably won’t have to because A) the judge is going to issue a written verdict and B) it looks like he’s going to be accquitted. The judge let him and his crew leave the country, after all, even after prosecutors protested that he was a flight risk.

Rocky’s lawyer says he believes he did enough to show the judges his client acted in self-defense and the attack on the alleged victim was not overboard or premeditated … as the prosecution alleged.

Rocky has also reportedly kept quiet about his arrest and indictment possibly being racially motivated and testified that he won’t be filing any sort of legal action over his incarceration.

The rapper said during his testimony he won’t seek any money from the Swedish government for wrongful prosecution, because he can easily earn back his profits from canceled concerts. Smart move … more incentive for the judges to find him not guilty.

Conspiracy theorists might want to weight in here, though. NBC News reports that Trump got the U.S. special presidential envoy for hostage affairs Robert C. O’Brien to write to prosecutors to urge them to release A$AP to “avoid potentially negative consequences” to Sweden. Dude made it sound like we were going to nuke ABBA. What in hell does Rocky have over the prez that we don’t already know about? We know pretty much everything already and he’s still bloviating up in the White House!
