The Sun Claims That Duchess Meghan And Prince Harry’s Staff Ban Neighbors From Approaching Them Or Petting Their Dog

Duchess Meghan and Price Harry are living every introvert’s dream by having their neighbors banned from making small talk and asking to see Baby Archie. Neighbors are reportedly not allowed to even pet the dog and claim that no one even knows the dog’s name because the super private couple won’t tell anyone. I’m guessing the dog’s name is actually just Rachel Green and Meghan is just not happy about it.
According to The Sun:
HARRY and Meghan’s neighbours have been warned by royal flunkies not to talk to the couple or ask to see baby Archie. They must even avoid stroking the pair’s dogs should they bound over.
The astonishing “do and don’t commandments” were issued at a residents’ meeting.
One local said: “It would be funny if it wasn’t so over the top.”
Narked neighbours ordered not to talk to Harry and Meghan said last night: “Even the Queen doesn’t demand this.”
Flunkies issued the list of dos and don’ts for people living near the couples new Frogmore’s Cottage home on the Windsor Estate.
Locals have been told:
- Don’t approach or instigate conversation if you see the Royal couple
- Do say ‘Good Morning’ or some other pleasantry if they speak to you
- Don’t pet or stroke their dogs, even if they come over to you
- Don’t offer to walk their dogs
- Don’t ask to see baby Archie or offer to babysit
- Don’t post anything through the letterbox of Frogmore Cottage
A spokesman for Buckingham Palace are claiming that Meghan and Harry had nothing to do with this mess, and everyone loved being asked to not talk to them.
Buckingham Palace last night insisted the request had come from an “overly protective palace official” — without Harry and Meghan’s knowledge.
A spokesman for Buckingham Palace said: “The Duke and Duchess had no knowledge of this briefing and no involvement in the concept or the content.
“This was a well-intentioned briefing to help a small local community know how to welcome two new residents and help them with any potential encounter.
“There was no handout or letter. The talk was undertaken by a local manager and was widely viewed as being well received.”
Umm…I’m not sure who they think this was well received by? The Duchess and Prince? The unnamed dog? Baby Archie? I doubt any of the neighbors are thrilled they can’t pet a dog or initiate a conversation. Hopefully unnamed dog breaks free and runs wild among neighborhood and no one will be able to help retrieve them, because no one is allowed to know their name or look them in the eye.
