Jennifer Aniston And Justin Theroux Reunited After Their Dog Dolly Died

When Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux called it quits on their maybe-not-actually-legal marriage last year, they probably assumed the only time they’d see each other would be on TV. Like catching Jen in an Aveeno commercial, or Justin on QVC selling shock-absorbing jogging pants. But it looks like they recently came together, and sadly it was to say goodbye to their beloved dog, Dolly.

E! News notes that Justin broke the news of Dolly’s passing on Instagram (because Jen doesn’t do social media). Justin posted several pictures of Dolly, who was named after Dolly Parton, surrounded by “her entire family.” Justin doesn’t mention Jen by name, but considering she’s the one who brought Dolly into the relationship, it’s safe to assume the hand holding Dolly’s paw is hers.

Justin captioned the photos with a famous quote by George Vest, and explained that Dolly went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday evening at sunset.

Jen adopted Dolly in 2006. She was frequently photographed taking Dolly for walks. Dolly even appeared in an Aveeno commercial, where she hit her marks like a pro (even while blindfolded!).

Jen was rumored to have gotten custody of Dolly after she and Justin broke up, and Jen loves Los Angeles. So it looks like Dolly’s funeral service happened in Southern California. Which is a really nice place to say goodbye, but especially Jen and Justin’s. Because Justin’s place in New York would suck. The last thing they’d want to see while saying goodbye is Justin’s nosy neighbor peeking over the fence, threatening to call the fire department over unauthorized sage burning.
