Cheryl Wills, the NY1 anchor who said everything with a look and a pivot!
Jabba the Trump “crashed” the wedding of a Staten Island couple at his country club in New Jersey over the weekend, and well, if he “crashed” my wedding, I’d guess that he finally signed a bill making icky gay stuff illegal and was there with officers to drag me into a conversion camp. But this was the wedding of two heteros and it was a Make America Great Again-themed wedding (so I’m guessing guests feasted on cold fast food and ate on cages with children in them), so Trump was there to congratulate the happy bride and groom. And when NY1 reported on it, Cheryl Wills gave her thoughts on that shit without releasing one word from her mouth.
NY1 anchor Anthony Pasquale presented the story all cheery-like, and said that even the couple’s non-Trump-supporting guests were excited. Anthony obviously didn’t read the room when he turned to Queen Cheryl and said, “You have to say, that was pretty cool that he stopped by.” Oh, Anthony, Queen Cheryl doesn’t have to say shit, and in fact, the only thing she’ll say is, “no comment,” and she’ll say it with her face.
The way that Cheryl looks down at her paper while smiling, it’s as if she’s thinking, “Cheryl, don’t curse this motherfucker on air for putting you on the spot. Wait until the little red light on the camera goes out.” This is truly a gold medal-winning swerve:

Now that is how a pro does it. I have watched and learned from Sensei Cheryl, and now every time someone says something I don’t want to answer (examples: Did you watch the game last night? or How many sexual partners have you had? or Michael, my son, don’t you think you’ve had too much to drink tonight?), I’ll just calmly smile and say, “Now to the latest on the international tug of war over rapper A$AP Rocky.”
