Scarlett Johansson Casually Showed Off Her Enormous Brown Diamond Engagement Ring

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost got engaged in May, and now she’s proving that one of the many roles she can play is a fiancé with an enormous brown engagement ring. ScarJo’s engagement ring is reportedly worth $400,000, so if Colin paid for it himself, he’s probably going to hit up Lorne Michaels to ask for extra Saturday Night Live skits to be put in so he can pay off his credit card bill after buying that ring.

Here’s the opulent acorn-looking ring that is as brown as ScarJo since she is a multicultural queen and king and tree.

Page Six describes it like this:

“Scarlett’s 11-carat, light brown diamond looks to be a spin on two stone shapes, mixing an oval and pear to create an elegant egg shape. We can estimate a ring like this to be priced over $400,000,” Alicia Davis, Shane Co‘s VP of Merchandise, told Page Six Style.

“Scarlett’s ring, though truly one-of-a-kind in style and design, is a great reflection of the elongated shape trend that we’re seeing with everyday brides,” Davis added. “Ovals and pear shapes are two of the most popular right now because of the way they lengthen the finger, creating a more slender finger and larger-looking diamond.”

Let’s hope Colin’s engagement lasts longer than the one between his Staten Island cast mate’s Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande. Though Pete probably bought a ring pop instead of a $400,000 ring, which made Ariana just buy her own.

ScarJo waited until Comic-Con 2019 to reveal the ring, probably to rub it in how much better her life is going than anyone there.

That acorn ring is perfect for a woman who can play a fucking tree, and it’s also timeless a ring (if you’re a damn squirrel, which ScarJo is since she’s everything). And it’s good that her ring is classic and will stand the test of time since her marriage to Colin Jost will definitely last until the end of eternity.
