Kim Kardashian Thanks Donald Trump And Jared Kushner For Helping With Jailed A$AP Rocky

Kim Kardashian is really taking her new job as savior of black people seriously, guys. Not only did she free Alice Johnson but she’s also been working really hard on prison reform which results (if she was even responsible for any of them) have been overwhelmingly meh and she’s becoming a lawyer too!

Kim’s latest missing is saving A$AP Rocky from Swedish jail by getting the White House to intervene! But it’s weird because the Swedish prosecutors–the ones in charge of that decision–are like, “Hmm, this is news to me.”

Kim Kardashian is patting herself on the back for trying to help A$AP Rocky get out of jail in Sweden. And at the same time, she’s also patting the backs of Donald Trump and Jared Kushner. She hopped on Twitter to thank them and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for helping with the A$AP Rocky situation:

That’s cute, but Page Six learned that Swedish prosecutors haven’t heard from the White House at all.

TMZ also reports that this morning, a Swedish judge ordered that A$AP is a flight risk, so he needs to stay in jail for another week. His lawyer thinks that’s bullshit and argued that he wouldn’t flee the country, because if he became a fugitive, he couldn’t earn money touring the world as a rapper. But the judge didn’t care. His lawyer also pointed out the video evidence shows that the other guy was the aggressor and that this fight was really a case of pushing and shoving, and A$AP should get probation if anything. The judge still didn’t care. So I guess Kim and Trump’s political powers didn’t work after all.

Page Six then got a statement from Swedish prosecutors about Kim’s claim:

“We have had no communication with the White House [and even if Donald Trump were to try to intervene, they said it is] not possible for the US President to have any influence on the Swedish legal procedure.”

But what about Kim??? She said Jared and Donald were working to  sAvE A$AP!!! Could she be fUlL oF sHiT???! OmGG!

Swedish Prosecutors weren’t done trolling America over the idea that a celebrity could get the President to get another celebrity out of jail because he asked them. They also provided Page Six with a link to a book called  The Swedish Judicial System–a manual on how Sweden works with foreign countries on crime. One part says:

“International cooperation is becoming increasingly important in the day-to-day work of prosecutors… Surrender can be requested for two purposes: the first concerns a person who is to serve a sentence already imposed in the other country, and the second concerns a person who is to face legal proceedings there.”

There may be some large disconnect going on, as a bunch of US representatives released a joint statement saying they reached out to the Swedish government about A$AP Rocky–but maybe the Prosecutor’s Office wasn’t involved in those discussions. Which would mean they went nowhere, because that’s kind of an important part of the process to get looped in.

I love the trolling done by Swedish prosecutors. They sent Page Six a link to their laws! They were like: “Oh, you think the American President and Kim Kardashian control Sweden? Ma’am, here’s a link.” They just won the Troll Olympics for Sweden with that one.
