Food Warrior Kourtney Kardashian Is Fighting For Better Food At Her Kids’ School

If there’s anything we know about the oldest Kardashian sister, besides also loving salads and having trash taste in men, is that Kourtney Kardashian is very into clean living and health stuff and wellness. Which always seems like such a paradox, considering she spends so much time around massive amounts of non-degradable plastic.

Kourtney has been fighting the stupid fight against everything delicious like sugar, carbs, dairy, and gluten for years, and if her kids wanted to get a hit of the good stuff, they’d have to sneak off to Kris Jenner’s house. Even school isn’t safe from Kourtney’s clean living crusade, as she recently admitted that she has marched down to the principal’s office and demanded her kids eat and live just as healthy as they do at home.

Kourtney talked about her fight with the school principal in a new post for her knockoff GOOP website, POOSH, titled “Use Your Voice to STAND UP for Your COMMUNITY.” Kourtney tells the story of a time she used her voice to put the principal of her kids’ school on blast for having the audacity to serve non-organic carrot sticks.

“I wasn’t satisfied with the food being served at my kids’ school, so I made sure that the principal knew my concerns. And I’ve continued to offer my two cents on everything from the type of milk they serve to their use of single-use plastic.”

What kind of terrible food is being served in the Disick childrens’ expensive private school cafeteria? I’m willing to bet it’s not the kind of disgusting Frankenfood that would make school lunch warrior Jamie Oliver cringe. For $60,000 a year, those kids aren’t eating square pizza and bottled orange drink. Kourtney is probably asking to speak to the manager principal, asking how they expect her kids to gag down a disgusting carton of Silk almond milk when they’re used to organic hand-pressed single-origin oat crème at home. It’s only $30 a mason jar at the local zero waste farmer’s market, come on!

Kourtney adds that it’s important for her kids to see her ask questions about plastic straws and lotion bottles, because she wants them to live a sustainable life too. And she’s trying to get other parents in on it as well.

“It may seem annoying, but in the long run, I’m doing it for my children and their futures. Another idea is to suggest a pledge that the kids take (and teachers, too) to create less waste every year, or starting a petition that gets passed around the parents via email.”

That’s a great idea, Kourtney! Actually, I’ve got a suggestion? Why not extend that pledge to your sister Kim Kardashian? Because I know who could make less waste and use less single-use plastics, and it’s the dummy who dumped thousands of dollars worth of fake chemical snow on their mansion and bought tons of plastic sleds just for one stupid Christmas party.
