Miley Cyrus Wants You To Know That Hannah Montana Is Dead And Gone
Miley Cyrus gave us a crash course in her millennial IDGAF attitude by sitting down with Elle magazine. If you were a Hannah Montana watcher, and have been praying for the return of Hannah Montana, then first, you need to find better things to pray for. And second, you’re wasting your praying time, because Miley says Hannah Montana officially left her body as soon as she gave up her v-card.
According to People, Miley was very eager to first let everyone know that Hannah Montana, the Disney character she portrayed for years, was finally laid to rest after she had sex for the first time.
“I [wanted to stop being Hannah Montana] once I was 18 because it felt ridiculous. The minute I had sex, I was kind of like, I can’t put the fucking wig on again,” she told Elle. “It got weird. It just felt like… I was grown up. ”
Miley’s words were the truest wrecking ball to shatter misconceptions of her child star past, especially after taking on the role of Ashley O in the new season of Black Mirror. In the episode Miley portrays a barely fictionalized version of herself dealing with superstardom and the dark forces behind the scenes suffocating her creativity. And if you thought Miley was just kind of playing the role, she wants you to know one thing:
“They twisted it up the way they always do, but the industry is already pretty dark,” Cyrus said of the episode, in which she plays fictional pop star Ashley O. “And at times, I’ve definitely felt like Ashley O. I still do.”
Miley also wanted to remind everyone that she’s married to hot slab of Australian beef Liam Hemsworth, and that the people can’t take all of their hotness! She revealed that it’s hard for people to understand that she is, indeed, someone’s wife. However, she hates that term. And she still gets the tingles deep inside her own treasure island for the ladies as well.
“I mean, do people really think that I’m at home in a f—ing apron cooking dinner? I’m in a hetero relationship, but I still am very sexually attracted to women,” she told the magazine. “I made a partner decision. This is the person I feel has my back the most.”
Since Miley is only twenty six, this won’t be the last time she reminds us that she’s hardcore, not to be fucked with and totally badass in every single way. And I’m sure if she has a kid by the time she’s thirty she’ll probably become the first former Disney star with matching Mommy and Me tattoos on herself and her baby.
