Hayden Panettiere’s Boyfriend Brian Hickerson Is Facing Four Years In Prison For His Felony Domestic Abuse Charge

Hayden Panettiere made the news late last year when it was reported that she was rebounding from her Ukrainian boxer fiancé (and father of her 4-year-old daughter Kaya) Wladimir Klitschko with Los Angeles actor/real estate agent Brian Hickerson. Then things got worse when Hayden’s friends started talking and saying that Brian was no good, and that Hayden wasn’t really seeing that much of Kaya (which she denied). Things took a turn for the truly shitty back in May when Brian got arrested for allegedly beating on Hayden. And now he’s been charged and could be thrown into the clink.

Back in May, Brian returned home from a night of drinking in Los Angeles and got into a physical fight with Hayden. When the cops showed up at 2 am, Hayden was reportedly found with red marks on her body. Brian was arrested for felony domestic violence and released on a $50,000 bond. A protective order was issued against Brian.

Radar Online says a hearing was held yesterday in Los Angeles, and more evidence was brought before the judge. One officer testified that as she approached the home at about 1:45 am, she heard a female voice say, “Ow ow ow, you’re hurting me.” The officer testified that Brian opened the door and claimed he was alone inside with his dogs, and that the female voice the officers heard was just the television. What show, Brian? FOX’s new reality show Whoops I Woke Up From Surgery?

The officers claim that once inside the home, they found Hayden in an upstairs bedroom, with bruising and swelling on her eyes, face, neck, and arms, as well as scratches and bite marks. Hayden also reportedly told officers that Brian open-hand slapped her in the face three times, with the third causing her nose to bleed. Hayden allegedly told police officers that the fight started on theirfront door step when they got home from drinking at Cabo Cantina in Hollywood. She tried to go upstairs to bed, and that’s when Brian allegedly fought her again.

Brian’s lawyer reportedly argued that the case be dismissed, as the two were “grappling” with each other, which they argued showed mutual combat by both parties. The judge didn’t buy that, and Brian continues to be charged with felony domestic violence. If he’s convicted, he could face up to four years in prison. It looks like that will be decided at a later hearing.

Part of the judge’s decision not to dismiss the charge was based on prior incidents of Brian being Brian. While being questioned by police officers back in May, Hayden reportedly admitted that a similar domestic event happened the day before, when they were visiting Puerto Rico. Brian has also allegedly beat up Hayden’s brother Jensen Panettiere while on a family vacation in Mexico.

This is on top of a fist fight Brian allegedly got into with his own dad last year in North Carolina.

I know Connie Britton claims she doesn’t have strong connection to her former Nashville co-star anymore, but maybe she can scroll through her phone for Hayden’s number. Hayden could use both a Rayna Jaymes and a Tami Taylor in her life right now. At least to give her the self-esteem boost needed to prevent planning any visits with Brian through two-way prison glass.
