Amber Portwood Of “Teen Mom” Has Been Charged With Three Felonies

A few days back Amber Portwood of Teen Mom-infamy was arrested for domestic battery. Well the thing about arrests is usually you get charged after, unless the authorities find you didn’t really do it. …Or you’re A$AP Rocky stuck in Sweden. Bad news for Amber Portwood, looks like police think she’s guilty as she’s been charged with three felonies after she allegedly decided to get violent on her boyfriend Andrew Glennon while he was holding their 1-year-old child, James. And now, shockingly to no one, Andrew is trying to get full custody of James. James should have his lawyers download all the Teen Mom episodes with Amber for evidence. They’ll probably only need a season or two to convince a judge–Hell, maybe just a reunion episode.

TMZ says that Andrew has asked for an emergency hearing so that he can get sole custody of James. I guess when she attacked him while holding their baby he was like, “Maybe she’s not a good mom?”  Maybe. On Tuesday, Andrew filed legal papers asking to be the only one legally responsible for taking care of James.

TMZ adds that on the night of the alleged attack, Andrew texted a police officer saying he and his son’s “lives were in danger” and “I need help.” The cop got there and saw marks on Andrew’s neck from where he alleges Amber hit him with a shoe, and took photos for evidence. The report from that night also says that Andrew told officers this was not the first time she’d attacked him. Shocker. He also said Amber has threatened him with physical violence “countless times.”

Amber allegedly told the police she hit Andrew but lightly on the shoulder, and said it was because he was recording her. Hmm, why would he be recording her? Maybe because she was threatening more physical violence against him and he wanted proof? I guess she showed him! Now he has no proof!

Prosecutors looked at the facts they had before them and decided to charge Amber with domestic battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, and domestic battery in the presence of a child. The deadly weapon they’re referring to must be the shoe she hit him with, but TMZ seems to think that’s not “deadly” enough. Ma’am: ask Cardi B if a shoe is a deadly weapon. She’ll let you know.
