Shawn Mendes Says He Isn’t Dating Camila Cabello But They Still Publicly Act Like It
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are really going for it and trying to make their song #1 at ALL costs. 20-year-old Shawn recently did a Q&A in Los Angeles where he was asked about 22-year-old Camila. Shawn shook his head, which then prompted the fan to ask Shawn if he would date her:
“That was the best set-up.. I won’t [go out with you]. I don’t know you, that’s why. I need to get to know you first.”

Now, Shawn was seen out and about on Sunday with Camila and they weren’t looking like just friends. In fact, they were holding hands after going out to lunch. Wooh, that’s hot! In some cultures that means your married. I can’t think of which, but I’m sure there’s one.

Listen you two, we get it. You’re getting that sweet, sweet young-love publicity. I’ll give you this much. you make more sense as a couple than Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande. But come on, I know that Shawn wants to quell the gay rumors, but in the end all the male pop stars turn to queer-baiting. Why not lean into it?
