Karlie Kloss Quit Victoria’s Secret To Be A Better Feminist

Karlie Kloss is really trying hard to be the anti-Ivanka Trump and is talking up her aspirations, liberal political-awareness and hardcore feminism in the new issue of British Vogue. Karlie talks about how converting her religion for her now-husband Joshua Kushner (AKA the Non-Evil Kushner) was not at all her being weak and giving in to a man and in fact she’s stronger for it and blah blah blah–it’s a lot. Want to hear a rich woman talk about how helpful and successful she’s trying to be?

26-year-old Karlie is on the cover of the August issue of British Vogue and she is really patting herself on the back. Or maybe it’s just that I’m so self-deprecating that when people say positive things about themselves I’m always like: “Wow, why are you so special?” Probably both.

Karlie makes a lot of statements in the interview, like how she’s super ambitious and will take over the world:

“I am deeply ambitious and driven, and there are a lot of big things I want to do–big things But I also want to enjoy the people I love and who love me. It’s important that I have joy in my life.”

I’m sure its hard for this rich beautiful model to find joy in her life…

Karlie also explained the reason she quit Victoria’s Secret was because she’s just too good of a feminist:

“The reason I decided to stop working with Victoria’s Secret was I didn’t feel it was an image that was truly reflective of who I am and the kind of message I want to send to young women around the world about what it means to be beautiful. I think that was a pivotal moment in me stepping into my power as a feminist, being able to make my own choices and my own narrative, whether through the companies I choose to work with, or through the image I put out to the world.”

Karlie, we get it, you’re the good one. You and Josh are the good couple who care about people and stuff, and Jared Kushner and Ivanka are the self-serving demon spawn from Hell. Speaking of, Karlie said this about being connected to the Trump family:

“It’s been hard. But I choose to focus on the values that I share with my husband, and those are the same liberal values that I was raised with and that have guided me throughout my life.”

Okay, yeah, whatever, but at least Karlie Kloss would never do something crazy like interrupt world leaders to add absolutely nothing relevant to the conversation in a failed effort to appear intelligent. Unlike some people we know…
