The power-washing Spider-Man of Florida!

If you look up and see Spider-Man taking a power washer to a roof as a giant storm is about to bust all over him, it means that you’re either on the set of a Twister/Spider-Man crossover movie (AKA the greatest Spider-Man movie of all time), or you’re in Florida. It was the second one, of course, but it should be the first one.

George Martinez looked out of his window in Miramar, FL on Monday, and before being hit with a storm, he was hit with a gust of WTF, while watching his neighborhood Spider-Man power-washing the roof of a two-story house. But really, if you’re in Florida and you look out the window and don’t see Spider-Man power-washing a roof before a storm, are you even in Florida?

This time Spider-Man’s spidey senses were tingling because of the rumble of that power-washer.

Well, I guess those Marvel checks aren’t as big as we thought (they can’t all get paid Iron Man money), and Spider-Man had to get a second job washing roofs.

George tells Fox 35 that the power-washing Spider-Man turned out to be the owner of a cleaning company who decided to do some work while wearing the Spider-Man ensemble he got for Father’s Day.

Turns out, Spidey’s alter ego was a worker with Sunset Paving & Pressure.

“He’s the father of a friend of mine who owns a cleaning company,” Martinez tells Fox 35. “He got the suit for Father’s Day and, well, the rest is history!”

Roof cleaning is yet another thing I know nothing about, so I may be showing my dumbness again by asking, why would you clean a roof before a rainstorm? But I guess the easy answer to that is the same answer to why would you wear a Spider-Man suit while cleaning a roof: Florida. Wonderful Florida.
