Last week, Duchess Meghan took a break from maternity leave to attend the annual Trooping the Colour. While on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, Meghan was seen turning around to look at Prince Harry, and that might have been a royal no-no, because Harry checked her.
The Daily Mail says that shortly before the start of the national anthem, “God Save The Queen,” Meghan turned to Harry, Harry said something, and she turned back around, then turned around again, which made Harry say something else, and that was that.
There’s a chance she was asking Harry if Buckingham Palace had a nursing room, or should she just do it in a closet where Queen Elizabeth stores the 16th Century suits of armor when they’re not on display. According to Us Weekly, Meghan and Harry brought Archie with them that day to meet his cousins. A source says Meghan and Harry didn’t appear on the balcony a second time, because they were off feeding Archie. That’s why they didn’t make a second appearance, and not because the first appearance got weird.
The Daily Mail spoke with a lip reading expert, and they claim Harry first tells Meghan, “Yes, that’s right.” The second time, he allegedly says, “Turn around. Look.” They also point out that members of the royal family face out towards the audience as the national anthem plays. Before the anthem played, several members of the royal family could be seen chattering away to each other. Harry himself was seen speaking to someone on his right, and it almost looks like Meghan is trying to join in on the conversation. Maybe they were talking about bumbershoots, and New British Meghan was like “Oh wait, I know what that is! Please include me – my only other option is to make small talk about Harry Potter with these children in front of me.”
Meghan doesn’t say anything back to Harry when he tells her to turn around, but she doesn’t have to. Her face says it all. I’m seeing what I want to see, but when Meghan turns around that second time, she’s got a “Well fuck you, too” look in her eyes.
